This week has been a tremendously busy one 🙃 and the coming weeks doesn’t look too calm either. More commitments are coming my way 😂👌🏼💪🏻
I wasn’t even thinking of posting this because I thought I looked too tired but it perfectly encapsulates my week 😂

Can u guess this app?? No need, tbh the name is everywhere ( ig handle and image ).
Am gonna tell you all a little back story about Stufty.
Once upon a time? 🤓
Say "time time"😁 Jokes apart, Stufty was my uni project that I decided to keep working on and make it better. I basically wanted to see how far I could take it from its prototype. Ran into a lot of issues, which is a norm and still have a few left to fix or that were taken off because they didn't work the way I wanted.
So rn It would be great to know what you all think about the app and how it can be better.
In a nutshell I need more honest reviews .. Unno A man never sees fault in his creations.
Reviews can be sent via Instagram DM @stuftyapp , comments on this post or in-app store review( link in bio )

¬ so, i just realized... i mixed up 'deleo' and 'delecto' on my latin test today :') and i'm a little sad :') because :') my prof literally told us about the phrase "carthago delenda est". i translated "delenda est" as "delighted" :'). i'll just see myself out now :').
¬ also, on a different note, i honestly love the greek and roman wing?? it's all just so aesthetically pleasing??? (i suppose as it should be considering the romans and greeks lol).
¬ i've only been to parts of the english wing and its depressing asf. why??? we don't even have a proper little study library? with tea? which you'd think as pretentious english majors we would. but nope. and the greek and roman study rooms are a lot brighter and aesthetically pleasing. idk, maybe i just haven't explored the english department enough lol.
¬ alsooo, on a happier (and exciting) note, i got an internship for a literary journal magazine !! i went in to see them yesterday for the interview, and now i'm part of the fiction board. i'm excited to see where this may lead me ! ♡
***FIRST GEN FRIENDS FRIDAY*** This Friday we're dropping wisdom from our friend @jakesweat34 (pictured w/o sunnies), a member of Propeller Collective at @uofmichigan !! .
Name: Jacob Sweat | Grad year: 2012 | Major: Econ/CogSci | Career plans: Hoping to go into a role in finance or consulting, especially seeking a position where I can work with others. . ***What was the biggest challenge you faced in college? How did you overcome it?*** .
The biggest challenge that I have faced so far in college is understanding how to adjust on my own. It’s easy to fall out of a routine when you start living on your own, and being a first-gen means that’s just another thing on the list you have to do yourself. Learning to be self-conscious and aware of what makes you driven and motivated each day is what really helped me to align my mental to do list with personal and professional goals. . ***How did you come to understand "first generation college student"? What does it mean to you?*** .
Learning to understand yourself as a first-gen is tough and definitely takes time. A lot of students, including myself, came to college without even knowing what being a first-gen means. The best way to learn about it was to find others like those in Propeller who really came in and helped to make me feel justified in having extra struggles in transitioning. I really like the term “trail-blazer” that is used when defining first-gens, it really shows the resilience and strong work-ethic that is present in all first-generation college students. . ***What do you aspire to do in the world?*** .
I really hope to make an impact that lasts forever in the world, especially in some sort of innovative technology or climate change project. It would be amazing to grow up and build an new foundation in how the world functions day to day. .
