Happy Friday! Since this year I am in a way better position than I was last year, I wanted to use my platform to start a campaign in order to raise money and awareness for Diabetes.
November is Diabetes awareness month so we will release the campaign video on the first. Here is a little sneak peak of what I had in mind and of course I would love to hear some feedback from you!
I have spent the past 2 weeks researching 11 organizations. After narrowing it down to the top 5 I then dug further into the CEOs background, future plans of the organizations, the annual reports and how they allocate their capital. The foundation I am going to support will be JDRF @jdrfhq
We are going to donate a set portion of the proceeds from specific products to @jdrfhq . This will be done through our direct to consumer business as well as our wholesale and retail distribution. So we should be able to do some damage since we are retail dominant.
The goal is to raise $10,000 and make some noise for the cause. If anyone is interested in how they can get involved feel free to reach out to me. 1 in every 4 people are diabetic, 1.25 million people in the U.S are affected by Diabetes.
Together I truly believe we can all make a difference!

Power snatch + snatch feeling good today - 2+1 🏋🏻♀️ up until I put anything over 45 on the bar (last video) that happened multiple times. I get a mental block every snatch session☹️ so annoying!

Fat loss food by @thefashionfitnessfoodie
As convincing as 292,600,004 articles on google are, there really isn’t such a thing as a ‘fat loss’ food.⠀
All food we digest contains energy, which means all foods contribute to our calorie total for the day ⚡️This isn’t a ‘bad’ thing - it’s how you survive, live your life and have the inclination to read my excessively long Instagram captions.⠀
Fat-loss simply occurs when across time, you are eating LESS calories (energy) than you’re using through activity (such as living said life, scrolling down my captions etc.)⠀
That being said; at the cost of actually making this tiny square useful beyond ‘lol everything ! ! !’, eating in a calorie deficit with a diet which;⠀
1. is relatively high in protein (to promote mostly fat-loss vs muscle loss.)
2. is fairly micronutrient dense (so you don’t feel shitty and get ill. Cus that’s not conducive for fat-loss.)
3. is still inclusive of lower protein, less filling, less micronutrient dense foods you love. Just in appropriate amounts (so you are still nailing 1 and 2, but within your deficit.)
4. is bloody sensible. Cutting your kcals stupidly low will make standing up feel as exhausting as 4 sets of deadlifts. Let alone having energy to do 4 sets of deadlifts.⠀
There’s no universal ‘best’ food for weight loss. It’s too simplistic to say low calorie foods or whole foods are best. And retrospectively, that all higher calorie foods or processed foods are ‘bad’.⠀
Cus really; it’s down to you how you create that energy deficit 💃💃💃 Pretty kool right? .

BACK AND ABS WORKOUT... Using bands and bodyweight exercises. What a great place to work out, with so much to do, and tons of friendly people around! I did some pull ups, stiff arm band pulldowns, inverted rows, single arm band rows, pullaparts and a little bit of ab work using the bars. Last exercise is an isometric chin up 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I can’t tell you enough how much you need to get yourself down for a life changing session at @barrysbootcamp
Also, big shout out to all the amazing trainers in London who have pushed us through their amazing sessions this week!

With all things white, almond and fruity 🍒🍓🍇@barebells White Chocolate & Almond Bar 🍫 Another new Dark Choco find - Cranberry & Almond, my goodness so good, sweet but with crushed almond bits throughout 😍 All butter White Chocolate and Cranberry GF Cookie 🍒🍪 Giant White Buttons and one pathetic mini white Toblerone - didn't know I was down to poverty supply 😭 Some nut, seed & fruit granola 🌱🌰🍒And some Sour Patch Kids Xploders 🍬
