I bet some people look at this and think, "2 feet in the air!" Or "cool kit" or "how good is it to see Tim back racing!"
I look at this photo and think, "I look fat"or "my foot placement is wrong" or "I should have run faster." .
Working with my psychologist is teaching me to deal with these negative thoughts and to focus on what I can control. I'm not great at it yet but like everything I do, I'm giving it 100%

It is crazy how fast you forget the pain and only remember the happiness of finishing! Already looking forward to the next race!
Head down through the palm groves of Indian Wells. Looking forward to much needed down time and planning next years races. Special thanks to @lovethepain_official for the awesome kit and @spcarbon for all your support. 📸: @justinluau

I’m a wee bit late on #medalmonday posting, but nonetheless...
The last race for 2018 is in the books. Not exactly what I’m capable of in terms of results, but due to a slack in motivation for this last one and relying mostly on the fitness I have built throughout 2018, I can’t complain with the outcome. A top 20 finish in my AG, and finally a run I can be proud of...since this has always been my “jam” and I haven’t really showcased that recently.
However the REAL highlights of the race was being able to represent #thecupcakecartel and meet some amazing team members out on the course, and also getting to meet and talk with the legend himself, @lsanderstri (what a humble and classy guy!)
Indian Wells was really an awesome venue to race, I do recommend it (if you can train through to December 😜) and I’m hoping to come back someday! ✌🏼out 2018! I’ll be back in 2019, ready to continue to #getgoldoutofeveryday !
Social Media VS Reality. There was nothing good about tonight’s swim. It was hard and I wanted to stop. But it reminded me that social media typically only shows us the “good” workouts or activities people have. So kudos to everyone out there pushing through the “bad” workouts, I see you 😎🏊🏼♀️❤️. 📸 @inese_westcott

#ITriWithSpeedSherpa My @speedsherpa teammates are all sharing their #offseason goals right now and mine is very simple: get healthy. Can’t do anything about #triseason 2019 if I don’t devote my time and energy to healing. Spent the evening getting an #MRI on this problematic hip/adductor so hope I’ll have some answers and clarity soon. Updates to come once I have them; thank you to all of you who have sent wishes for a speedy #recovery and offers of 🍷! You get me!
