Changes! New shoes, @saucony triumphs! Looking forward to breaking them in tomorrow!! Second change, that bright red tire means it's trainer season! (Yes I will clean my bike, deck is getting redone so I can't clean it..apartment problems) not super excited to get back on the trainer, but I tried a slowtwitch 70.3 workout today and my mind is totally changed. Progress will be made!!! #triathlontraining#tri#seventypointthree#swimbikerun#triathlon#ride#shoes#gear
Hit the indoor bike tonight before hitting my lats. Your swim stroke is largely influenced by your lats. Don’t neglect strength training.

Lao Tzu, "A journey of a thousand miles starts with the first step." This is my thousand mile journey. A brick workout of 45 minute run followed by a 30 minute bike ride.
Why this you might ask? I competed in Sprint and Olympic Distance Triathlons and Duathlons. Now, I want to go for a Half-Ironman Distances. Starting to ramp up my base training. The bike is easiest for me, but I need to focus on my run.
I love multi-sport training and events since it is so diverse. I am doing long bike rides, Olympic Lifting, circuit training, and running. I can workout outside or in the gym.
Exercise should never be boring. Find something you enjoying doing and do it.

Looking forward to riding this awesome 116 mile bike course in Chattanooga on Sunday. Yep, 4 extra miles on this bike course. Because 112 miles isn’t enough. 😳 50 min ride today felt great. Ready to race! 🏊🏻♀️🚴♀️🏃♀️
No filter 😊 post aqua class this morning!! Goggles for laps and flips (i am still working on flips... yes, beginner over here) Woohoo 😃 water is amazing, rejuvenating, healing, inspiring, refreshing!!! What else is water? EVERYTHING!!
Well, flag football was cancelled because it rained a ton earlier, but no rain this evening! It was so dreary I couldn't get a good pic, but I was grateful to be able to run. Felt great out there with temps in the 50s and a light breeze. A nice little progression/tempo run. Sunday swim, Monday bike, Tuesday run. I'm liking this pattern. #tempotuesday#allthreesports

When you’re trying really hard to hold your shit together and someone tells you that eating whole family blocks of chocolate each week is really bad for you. Well fk me I thought a huge output each week through training means huge input of that delicious cocoa... and a large build your own crust pizza... and yo-yo biscuits. Whatever. REST WEEK NEXT WEEK and boy do we need it. Almost into our final 4 week block before Noosa! Throwback to me dying over the line when my stitch finally hit me. 🏊🏻♀️🚴🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️
I had a fun discussion with Dan Empfield at Slowtwitch the other day. Dan competed in the first Ironman held on the Big Island in 1981, designed the original triathlon wetsuit, and also designed the first tri bike that was “built from the aerobars back.” It was an honor to speak with him, and I hope to get a chance to meet him in person in Kona in a few weeks! #ironmantri#roadtokona#swimbikerun#ironmantraining#triathlontraining
70.3 Miles of Smiles 😝
Coming in 🔥 at Sunday’s #IMAC703.
Loved so much about this race. Went in feeling like a million bucks (injury free and mentally ready) and came out with a 15min personal best.
Thanks @delmosports@stephen_del_monte@ironmantri for putting on such a great experience.
