It's just one of them days where I am giving myself permission to just chill and take it easy. Or at least I'm working on it.🌿🌿🌿
I preach about #downtime all the time, but when it comes to me at home on a rainy day, I have a hard time not "achieving" something.
Today I managed to keep mindfulness in the mix and although I was "doing", I made sure to also be "being".
Whenever my #monkeymind started her chatter I was able to bring my focus back to the feelings in my body, my breath, my internal self.
Turning off the technology and taking a 5-minute meditation was the perfect start to getting back to my #internalcompass 🙏🏻✨🙏🏻✨🙏🏻✨🙏🏻✨🙏🏻
This world is set up for the opposite- it's all about distraction and getting you to feel something, some other way, some "should" that draws you deeper and deeper into your own suffering and dysfunctional patterns. Telling you that you need to buy/have/know/do/eat/look like/be like this AND THEN YOU WILL BE HAPPY.
It's YOU that gets to choose to listen to the monkeymind or to the internal guide, every second of every day.
