In my constant visits to the junk yards in Nigeria, I took time to identify the scrap metal pieces that usually dominate the piles, among them are #brake pads, I asked a silent question why is brake pads dominating the piles, we all know the answer. Another item I sported out is generator tanks , why do we have too many generator parts in the junk yard?,we all know the answer. The number of bicycle tanks and chains I see in the junk pile is enough to build the tallest sculpture in the world, this same bike has put many lives into the grave on our roads, but we seem not to care about that. The country continuously transpose to a junk yard where you can find rubbish, waste, and trash.
Nigeria is like a beautiful lady without virtue , pretty without attitude.
She had lost her best husband to the foreign land because she refuse to produce good fruit. Show me that responsible man that will remain married to a woman who doesn't value his hard work. She doesnt even care if her siblings have great potentials that could make her great. All she wants is just one night stand with thieves, politicians, and lawyers who have sold their conscience. She kept supplying her breast milk to neighboring countries, meanwhile her children are drinking mud water. In all I have learnt to see only the beautiful side of her. I have trained my eyes to behold the glory in her. I have decided to see not the #rubbish but the #rubies, I have seen not the #waste but the #wealth, and I have seen not the #trash but the #treasure, and I #hope one day she will see herself the way I have seen her.
GOD BLESS NIGERIA

It is not work that kills men, it is worry. Work is healthy; you can hardly put more on a man than he can bear. But worry is rust upon the blade. It is not movement that destroys the machinery, but friction. — Henry Ward Beecher

You might not make it to the top, but if you are doing what you love, there is much more happiness there than being rich or famous. -Tony Hawk

The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.

Learn by doing. I am always doing things which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it.

Optimism is a happiness magnet. If you stay positive, good things and good people will be drawn to you.
Illuminated by my headlamp, I stumbled across this exquisite button as I was nightlarking in the dark this week during the extremely low tides. The ornately decorated button from the 18th century is a whopping 30mm in diameter. Just imagine a distinguished Georgian gentleman wearing a tailored overcoat with a row of these decorated buttons. That must have been a stunning spectacle! Swipe left to see a historic illustration of a Georgian gentleman blinding a female admirer with his flashy buttons.
