Next Friday (time flies😱) I'm leaving this country to go on an adventure!
So I decided to upload this pretty pic because I'm going to miss those two monkeys (aka my little sisters) a lot! 🐒
We took this picture at the "Three Country Border", where the Netherlands 🇳🇱, Belgium🇧🇪 and Germany 🇩🇪 meet!
As you can see, we always make sure we tickle our little sister right before someone takes a picture, so at least it looks like we are having fun😂. Just kidding, lots of love for these two ❤️❤️❤️ Enjoy your weekend cuties!
Have you ever driven on a road during your travels that almost gave you a heart attack?
I took this picture of the famous road to Hana while driving on Maui. I'm lucky that I do not have a fear of heights because the trees to the right are hiding about a 100 meter drop off death into the ocean. With the road being as small as it is, most people would be a little unnerved and there were a few people in the car with me that I'm sure were having a panic attack from my driving, but I loved every minute of it. This road takes you on a journey to amazing waterfalls, gorgeous views, and great beaches. It's really true what they say... The places that are the most beautiful are the most difficult to get to but oh so worth it!
Although the distance from Kahului to Haha is only fifty miles, the drive can take up to 3 hours, even with no stops.
PIRATE TIP: There are many tours offered for the road to Hana but I personally think the best way to experience the drive is to do it yourself. That way you have the freedom to stop as long as you like and for many of the sites along the way it is necessary to spend extra time exploring. There is a fantastic app called Shaka guide which uses gps to offer a guided tour depending on where you are. It's an awesome way to learn and experience the road to Hana without the pressure of time restraints like on a regular tour.
Always remind yourself of those things you like
Connecting to the world can sometimes mean, disconnected to ourselves.
