There is no bad time to visit the Galapagos Islands. The weather is very stable here all year long and the only thing you have to worry about is the intensity of the Sun. There is very little shade and if you want to explore the wildlife bring a hat to cover up and the strongest sunblock you can buy. For us this trip was one of our most unforgettable. We got to swim with turtles, learn that giant tortoises will hiss at you when you get close, and we saw more wildlife than we could have imagined. The islands are not cheap to visit, and you see a lot of older tourists visiting. If you can afford it, don’t put it off. Visit while you are strong and can do the physical activities like diving or snorkeling.
