@chelseyarnal I love you so much, because you are the kind of travel partner and conference buddy where we can take an Uber to a party at a dive bar and nope right out to another Uber and go out to dinner because it was too loud and crowded and not our scene. BUT tracking down some delicious Texas BBQ, is SO our type of scene! 😂🙌🏼🍗👏🏼
I love seeing things that remind me just how small I am. [*waits for short jokes*]

I get asked often “how was Colombia, wasn’t it dangerous?. How you stayed there without knowing anyone there?? .
“I wouldn’t go there, I ain’t tryna get robbed, killed... it’s too violent..
ppl crazy out there... & so on..
Here’s some context: 👉🏼 This is me in Comuna 13. Not that long ago this was one of the most dangerous places in the world & definitely in Colombia..
Today it’s one of the most visited places by tourists in Medellín.
It’s still a place I wouldn’t go at night. You still have to be alert, some kids will pick pocket if you sleeping but everyplace has a bad area/s.. I felt safer in Medellin than I do in the states. .
NOW I wanna know, so they have tours going to this community right.. my question is: Where in NYC are they giving tours in Bed Stuy or projects in the South Bronx???.🤔 But somehow Colombia is way too dangerous??. ONLY to those that never been there repeating what someone else said that’s never been either. #VisitColombia#MillennialsAbroad#Ant_619
What if we ALL just broke the silence and roared our stories?
Can you imagine the walls and corporations and injustice that would crumble? Breaking silence is scary because we are one ... and maybe people you’ve spoken your truth to have turned their back on you ... but here’s the thing ... there is a crapton more people and women who will NEVER turn you away and are brave enough to stand beside you. You’re not alone. So many more people will believe you than will doubt you. You’ve got an unseen powerful army behind you.

You are my sunshine after the rain!😘❤️
Tell me why I look like I’m about to get married!😂 😉
I might look posh or glamorous here in this photo, but I definitely tripped down the stairs about 5 minutes after this photo was taken!
I don’t know what it is, but lately I’ve been trippin’ on vacations...literally lol! =================================
TRAVEL TIPS: I promised to share some good ones with you about Catalina Island so here they are! Definitely book your ferry ride in advance to reserve your ticket. It was so easy upon arrival to simply give your name at the desk, grab your ticket and board!
If you’re an adventurer you’ll love this island. They have parasailing, waterskiing, kayaking, zip lining, electric mountain biking, hiking, lounging, there’s a little bit of something for everyone here and the people that live here are some of the kindest souls! I was coming off a cold while here and one of the lovely owners at Cafe Metropol gave me these delicious turmeric wellness shots on the house. Definitely check them out while you are here for all your green juice and smoothie cravings! Excellent service!😊
My favorite place to eat here was Coyote Joe’s! There Mexican food was delicious, fresh, and the atmosphere was fun and lively!
If your looking to go to Catalina for a couple days when it’s jumping, the most hopping nights I believe are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday because the influx of cruise ships that arrive around those days. If you’re looking for peace and quite go the other days of the week and enjoy great conversation with the locals and relaxation in paradise!
What’s your favorite adventure activity?

Whether it’s a Live Broadway or a scrumptious bite around the corner or midnight madness, Times Square is always a sight to watch out for!
Isn’t it like a large canvas brightened with people from all corners of the world.. every one painting their own colours❤️
