61. Won’t you come into the garden? I would like my roses to see you...🍃

Making our way to El Paredon took us along some long gravel roads, past police checkpoints, onto a small flat ferry for our shuttle van (there's a fun photo of it way down my feed), and through some baking hot stretches of Guatemala, but boy was it worth it. Once we arrived it was all empty black sand beach, beautiful nature and sea birds, and palapas running sporadicly down the coast, paradise I tell you, paradise.
It's certainly was a consistent theme that if we took the extra shuttle, or one more bus, beyond the "main" attraction for tourists we found ourselves in nearly deserted and wholly amazing places. Destinations without the crowds, with lower prices, and with unique appeal. Following this ethos really helped us see sides of countries we hadn't expected and will be a favorite technique to find new places in our future travels.
A night on the town, Dubrovnik. Sometimes all you need do is set up your tripod and the photo just creates itself - especially in Croatia, where everyone loves a camera. Taken at 0.6 secs, ISO 500, f10.
Am I the only tourist who (sometimes) gets extremely annoyed with other tourists ?! 😱

Autumn in #Berlin is truly the best season to spend your getaway there! Check the description below, why. 🍁😍 @topberlinphoto@topgermanyphoto
Autumn is the time when we still enjoy the last rays of sunshine. The transition from the shining summer sun to the grey skies of winter marks the end of the outdoor fun. But not in Berlin! 🍂☕️
Even though the temperature cools down quite a bit and the days get shorter, in autumn, the warm colors of the changing season invite everybody to go outside and enjoy the melancholic yet beautiful atmosphere. - For a fall outdoor walk and foliage color enjoyment, I especially love Tiergarten, Schlosspark Charlottenburg, the surroundings of the Landwehrkanal and the off of the beaten path Schöneberger Südgelande. 🍁📸
- Most of the cafés and restaurants in town will add pumpkin soup and apple pie to their menus. But if you want to play the masterchef, head to one of the weekend markets. Boxhagener Platz in Friedrichshain is considered the best in town. At there, you can find seasonal produce, like fresh fruits and vegetables, cheese, marmalades and apple cider. 🍁🍏🍎🍂😍😋
- Autumn in Berlin can be very rainy, especially in November. With almost 200 museums, Berlin is said to have more museums than rainy days. And the Museum Island is defnitely the crown jewel of Berlin museum complexes! 😍🍂🏛
- Days get shorter in Fall and the early dark evenings are perfect for light shows. Berlin has two light festivals happening in October. The main one is the Festival of Lights, illuminating some of the most iconic monuments and sights in the city center, like the Berliner Dom and the Brandenburger Tor. On its turn, Berlin Leuchtet focuses on less known architectural spots, like the Bundesrat building near Potsdamer Platz and the deactivate Gasometer in Schöneberg. That's the coolest thong that I've ever seen in any city! Can't wait to travel back there next week! 😍😍😍🙌🏽📸
