The content face of a nomad who’s finished her first individual assessments of her master’s degree & now gets to galavant freely around Milan🖤 •
Honestly, can’t think of a better way to spend a girls trip than in this city! I’ve had some questions about the apartment we’re staying in because it’s INSANE.. so tomorrow I’ll be sure to tell you guys a bit more about it🙈 But for now... I’ve been up since 3:30am so it’s off to bed😅 •

Do you ever feel like you’re just not meant to live in one place for the rest of your life? Well, you’re probably not. ⚠️ Warning: I started writing this caption, and before I knew it, it turned into an absolute rant, so let me know in the comments if you agree. ⠀
Why DO we stay in one place? We didn’t always. Our ancestors were nomads whose home was the planet (or I guess, whatever continent they happened to be on) 🗺⠀
So, what changed? Well, technology and all that jazz, and the fact that we started claiming land. We may have progressed a lot, but what we lost was the freedom to explore 🌍⠀
I’m so thankful that we moved around a lot in my childhood ✈️ From flying across the world to live in the US, to moving from apartment to apartment seemingly all the time. ⠀
We never really settled down until I was in 3rd grade. By then, our subconscious is mostly developed and our innate beliefs are established. As a result, I never felt attachment to a place, or to things for that matter. ⠀
There wasn’t a “home.” Only people were home. And things never reallyyy mattered, whether they be trivial like cars or clothing, or meaningful like photos and mementos. Or, when people ask the deserted island question of what you would want to have with you, I just kind of answer “uhh... my phone” like a good millennial 📱⠀
So, what I’m trying to say is that the world is your home. Go explore, try new things, speak new languages, and do something weird for a change. I promise it’ll be the most human you’ll ever feel 🙇🏼♀️⠀

heyy! I don’t want to sounds cliché or corny but I’m going through a new chapter in life, so I decided to try something new and nerve-racking :) I want to get out of my comfort zone and I’m trying to grow, experience, love and learn more this year. Trying new things is terrifying and weird for me since l’m such a “stay in your zone” kinda girl. But when you’re scared and nervous about something new, exciting and interesting things always happen!! I’m going to be traveling to many different places this next year and hopefully you can experience them with me⚡️
Its almost December... time to start posting untimely pictures of warmer times #gilitrawangan

Sometimes things seem to get a little bit crazy. Reading for me is something that allows me to disconnect just for that little while and pop back into the world with just that little bit of extra knowledge. If you’re reading this here’s permission to take a moment, breathe and have an amazing weekend.

This country is full of surprises. You can find waterfalls of all shapes and sizes, cool rock formations, and gorges (like this one) all over the land. We're walking down at the riverside to, what is known as, the divine waterfall of the gods, Goðafoss. We got a spectacular view from this side, but you can try walking on the other side, or look down from above, or maybe get up real close... you'll be surprised how different it looks at new perspectives.
Tonight I feel whole, and torn at the same time 🤷🏼♀️ Nope, I’m not mad, it’s just the price we pay for loving travel so much, your heart is always split all over the world, while being fuller than it’s ever been before 🌏
I’ve just seen my parents for the first time in over 6 months, I’ve missed them. I’ve spent today with my nephew, and I’m feeling love for being home. 🍁
But I miss so much too, I miss my other life, my travel life. And so my minds running away with me so I thought I’d share with you some of the wonderful things I miss right now, while feeling beautifully full and content in this very moment... 💕 The Sun, The Sea and The Sand 💕 my Bali besties, my people and my Bali fam! 💕 Dragon Fruits and Mangosteens
💕 The ‘Gu! 💕 Nasi Goreng!
💕 Indonesian sunsets!
💕 Indonesian people
💕 Indonesian food
💕 The feeling of being free and able to go and do anything I feel like 💕 every single adventure
💕 Snorkelling, Surfing and Skinny Dipping
💕 Rooftop Bbq’s and singing round the guitar
💕 Not waking up to the sound of prayers echoing over the island
💕 Live music
💕 Satu and all the Bali dogs
💕 Bali 💕 Bali
But for now I’m embracing all the wonderful things I miss when I’m there.
That’s the price we pay for travel, we love and miss so many things, but love, experience and appreciate so much more 🙏🏼 #bali#akumencintaimu#indonesia#travellife#theharmonyarmy#microinfluencers
Dinner at @alexatala’s D.O.M restaurant marked half a year of traveling for us and a dream come true after watching his amazing episode on @chefstablenetflix. 😍 This restaurant is #1 in Brazil and #5 in Latin America. We love his idea of “Amazon to table” and are so grateful that there are chefs like him in the world that care so much about preservation and learning from other cultures. These are a few of our most memorable plates of the evening - we were hoping for the Amazonian ants though! 🐜 We have to admit that at this point we think we might’ve overdone the fancy restaurants. We are learning that you really can have too much of a good thing. ⠀
Phang Nga Bay, Phuket, Thailand
This is one of the first stops during my island hopping day tour from Phuket! The water was a beautiful turquoise and we were able to kayak around the caves and soak in some sun ☀️
Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada
It was cold but it was worth it! This beautiful lake is glacier water and is the perfect spot to admire the Rockies (that’s Mt Victoria in the back). You can finish off your day of outdoor exploring at one of the many restaurants or lounges at the Fairmont just steps away from here! 🗻

Bike is often the best way to explore a new city and I'm missing out on this. Why? Because I don't know how to ride a bike and I'm not even embarassed to admit it. Haha. 😅 Of course I want to go city biking or cycling just like everyone else but I know I can't. I guess I'm busy doing other stuff growing up or maybe I accepted years ago that it isn't for me. All of that being said, biking is still on my bucket list. 😊🌥️🏢🌁🛢️📷🚲 #biking#singaporetrip

Day and Night Shots. People’s Park Complex is both a commercial and residential property located in Chinatown. If you are looking for this spot, you'll find this huge yellow building backdrop on level six rooftop carpark. 😊🦁🏢🏮🌃🚉 #chinatown
