For most of my adult life I have battled my weight and I was nearing the largest I had ever been… It never let it keep me keep me from having a positive attitude or outlook on life but the ones who love me most knew of my constant struggle to lose weight. .
I had everything I ever wanted- I finally found and married my person, we bought a beautiful home, we were talking about building a family, I had a great job but I couldn’t comfortably bend over and tie my own shoes…that was my moment. .
I was obese and on the verge of needing medication to control my cholesterol. I decided to reach out to a friend. .
I asked about their program and said I was ready for a change. This is how my journey started and I’m so grateful!”

Did I ever tell you about our first baby
it was like the "YOU'VE BEEN FRAMED"
of Child births ... so yesterday i spoke about
FACEBOOK MEMORIES ... anddd ... another crazy ass memory popped up ...
as its recently been my boys
4th birthday (i feel old)
so it was a CATALOGUE OF ERRORS
see ... my partners water had broke ..
she was having massive contractions ..
so we jumped into the car ... headed to hospital ... and was sent home ...
saying we still had some time to go ... because we lived only
"a couple of miles away"
and we wernt allowed to stay together ... i mean .. come on ...
it was our first baby ...
by wife was petrified ..
and they wouldn't let me stay
which idiot made that rule!! so we just listened and went home .. anyway ...
Katie woke up a couple of hours later ..
AND IT WAS TOO LATE ... we were having the baby in our apartment .. bricking it wasn't the word ... so i had to ring 999 ...
get a nurse on loud speaker next to the bed ..
and talk us through giving birth ... you can just picture it cant you ... screaming ...
me not knowing what the fuck im doing .. trying to tell my partner to be quiet
so i can hear the nurse haha!
anyway ... everything in the end
went fine ... and we had a beautiful
baby boy called teddy ... but sooo many things didn't go as planned .. AND THATS THE LESSON THERE .. see we all aim for perfect ..
and if its not perfect we stop or quit ... things especially in your fitness journey
WONT ALWAYS GO TO PLAN .. you will hit obstacles ....
you will come across dick heads ...
you might hear news that pisses you off .. but in the end ..
if you keep on going ...

Today I have done nothing but watch a comedy show (Older Millennials @shlesingeriliza - if you haven’t seen it you NEED to 😂), 45 minutes cardio and finally stretch and relax by the pool. ——————————————————————————Do I feel lazy? No. I’ve been firing on all cylinders now for far too long and can feel myself doing harm to my body so a break was well overdue. Now to get ready to tackle another week 💪🏽

Seriously though. Self-care can be whatever feels good for you (nothing self destructive, though!) Dinner with an amazing friend, walking with your sister in the snow, meditating, listening to a good podcast, watching a movie with your love, a peel off face mask, and a glass of wine. Make time for yourself. You are amazing & you have so much to offer this world. Take care of yourself! 💗

I feel like you can tell in an odd way how much I have changed internally here rather than the obvious external changes. I remember back then being very weak minded and unsure of myself in every way. Needless to say, though i’m still not fully appreciative of how far I have come (capricorn life) I can appreciate what i’ve been through to get here☺️

Another day in paradise. 🌺🐠
This trip has been amazing. I’ve had my phone turned off most the trip, turning off all my notifications (if you saw my phone on a day to day basis, between Instagram, company apps, emails, orders, texts, wow it’s overwhelming) so I really needed this time. I’ve never felt more present in my life. 🙈
Yesterday, I snorkeled with a sea turtle. Honestly, I almost crashed into the poor little guy. He came out of nowhere haha we were literally 2 feet apart, if that. It was amazing. It’s been relaxing, freeing, and just everything that I needed. I’ve felt this overwhelming pressure before this trip. Like there’s been hands pressing down on my shoulders constantly. My body and mind felt so stressed that to be here in Maui, is an absolute dream. 💜

I missed my swole sister @70lbsoflife tonight at the gym, but I got it done 👏🏻
I’ve been sticking to my keto diet, drinking my ketones (twice a day 😛🤘🏼) and I’ve been hitting the gym hard, and I’m definitely feeling like I’m seeing a lot of new changes in my body over the last 3 weeks! 🤩

You’re not starting this journey as a quick fix—this is a new approach for you. You’re not going to get where you want to be within the first year—or two—or even three... I don’t know when we’ll get there to be honest... but I do know:
1) we can’t reach our goals if we continue to try quick fixes
2) we won’t last long if we do this alone
3) you’ll stay in a dark place without the lord.
Woke up to snow!❄️ 2 of us are outside building snowmen ⛄️ while these kiddos are gonna join me for an at-home workout until it warms up. •I hate to admit it, since fitness was such a HUGE part of my life and I loved teaching group fitness classes right up until we moved, but I’ve totally fallen out of the routine. But I’m not too stressed about it. If I set a goal, I break it down into a plan. And if I schedule that plan into my weekly routine then all will be easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy. (😂 My 2 girls say that ALL the time) My favorite exercise is combining resistance training with cardio. I’ve seen the best results when I avoid straight cardio work. •Let me know if you want me to bring back my workout videos! (1st, I’ll start working out again😆) •And for the record, everything is bigger in Texas except our snowmen ⛄️😹 Happy weekend!

Me before I discovered what a “legday” was😂. #PreGym days lol
I know I look 12 in the pic on the left, but I had just started college and that’s essentially when I found the hobby of working out😆🤷🏼♀️. I never knew it would become such a huge part of my life! I was naturally a smaller build so it’s always been harder for me to put on weight and muscle. I used to get the “anorexic” or “why are you so skinny” comments growing up and it always made me feel super bad because I literally had no idea how to gain curves.
That’s why I love sharing my fitness videos and tips on my page! I remember what it felt like being clueless and overwhelmed in the gym. I would literally save pictures and videos of workout stuff on my phone so I could reference it because I was afraid of doing the form wrong and looking weird lol.

This month marks my two year anniversary at lifetime and I cannot believe what lifetime has done for my life. I look back on these past two years and I think of how my life has changed. From the environment to the people surrounding me, I can say I have it the best. This is my thank you to all of the people in my life who were by my side through it all. Also, I cannot thank you enough @alex_e2whunts . You gave me an endless amount of happiness and motivation to be the best. Lastly, this isn’t the end of my story it’s just the beginning. I am proud to say that I am down 42 pounds, my body fat percentage is the lowest it has ever been, and my self esteem is the highest. If you took the time to read this, thank you.
