Getting ready for the Dallas Ultra, I decided ot would be a good idea to run a beast and sprint the same day with only a short pause between. Little did i know Lebec was going to be a seriously hard course. @nutribeet gave me that extra boost of energy and mental clarity to go back out for another race, finishing both pretty strong. And! Picked up my 6x this weekend , 4 to go.

Today the mountains broke me into pieces— and then I rose from the rubble and realized I was stronger than I ever imagined. ⛰ I completed the first 10 miles in 2 hours and 15 minutes. Then, around mile 16 I began to feel an intense pain in my left hip. I hobbled on, but at mile 18 I broke down in tears, thinking there was no way I could finish another 13 miles while in so much pain, but I gave myself a pep talk: “You are a warrior. If you can make it to the next aid station, you can finish this race.” And that’s exactly what I did. Miles 18-24 was the most difficult of any race ever, but somewhere along the way I caught my second wind. I finished running strong— it took me 8 hours and 40 minutes to complete 31 miles over three mountains, and I did it with a smile on my face. After all— “It’s supposed to be hard. If it wasn’t, it wouldn’t be worth doing.” I’m so proud of myself for finishing, and I will treasure today’s brutal ups and downs for the rest of my life. #ultramarathon#ultrarunner#50k#PM2HR#runner#irunthisbody#stevvenpowered#tootoughtokill#toolegittoquit#pilotmountain#hangingrock#trailrunner
I am happy to say @rawnutritionlabs invited me to be an ambassador for their product @nutribeet. I was skeptical at first honestly, I get a lot of these. Turns out all they want is for me to try their product and be honest about what I think. Novel concept right? No buy in fee or measly % off. Nope here take this and tell us if you like it. Can do. Ill report back on effects in a few days. I can tell you a couple of cool things after my 1st try.
1) whoever came up with the funnel scoop is a genius.
2) I am a big believer in beet root powder. I tried another big brand, the one the Elites use, it was disgusting. This was a lot smoother, it is beets so guess what, kinda taste like beets.
The pineapple addition really cuts the bitter though. Anyway into the gym to test it out. @nutribeet#nutribeetambassador#poweredbynutribeet#ocrtraining#tootoughtokill#sorrylongpost

Going into the biggest race so far this year, I looked back to last year for a little motivation. My very first and still longest beast. Still rehabbing an ITB injury, 20lbs heavier than currently, and under trained for the task ahead. I manged to cross the finish line, exhausted and in pain. Looking back i probably shouldnt have kept running on that knee, but quitting just isnt in me.
This year, thank god, my knees are feeling good and I feel as prepared as I can be. Hopefully that translates into a very strong finish, most importantly though is to stay injury.
Probably my one and only Transformation Thursday. 2012ish-present. Roughly 230 @34%+ bodyfat to [email protected] 12% bf. Lots of ups and downs between.
Everyones fitness goals and journey is a unique and very personal road. Never let others opinions of fir determine what your goals are. Lean, athletic, muscular and anything else in between. Train for healthy, train for functional, above all train to be happy with yourself.
My first championship series race is done. Not my worst finish, but by far my most disappointing. 34th overall 8th in age not too shabby. The only thing that stood between me and top 10 was grit. Conditions got in my head and it took half of the race to get my head back in it. Damn sure wont happen again. Palmerton is gonna be hot and hard, lets do it
Im 18 now
I have faced twice as much people i can remember....Most of them were the People who were jealous of me, people who have tried their level best to match me, people who tried to throw me off my game. People who pretended to motivate me so that they can take advantage of me. BUT NONE SUCCEDED!
Most of the people in my life are my secret enemies, i figured it out way back.
Today is a kind of age where the celebrities on social media sitting at home eating pizza writing the hell they want because they know they will be praised for that fake motivation have more influence on people's lives than their own parents who live besides them, who know them more than anyone, have on them. But i can say that im firmly attached to my roots. No celebrity/influencer in the world can penetrate my mindset.
The best lesson you'll ever learn is that life won't ever be fair to you. When you hit rock bottom that's when you start looking up.
A very special someone taught me that lesson and I thank her for it.
