Weird thing we do for bookstagram 🙃🙃
QOTD: what’s the weirdest thing you have done for instagram.
I don’t think I have one right now. I just take my books everywhere, In case I can click a good picture somewhere with them :P
Hi all, Happy Friday
“Our lives aren't so different from a crossword puzzle, sure. But the thing about life is we don't get to draw the grid; we take the rows and columns we are given. Our bodies, parents, mental health issues, all that. What we do get to do is fill the cells.”
I recently read this in a contemporary novel Down And Across by Arvin Ahmadi. The book was about a guy named Scott who was from an Iranian background. Though the book did not include a lot of Iranian Culture, it intrigued me.
OFTD: What is your favorite book based on a Middle Eastern character?
I am not sure if it’s happens with you all, but I more often than once, would find myself in a situation that even though I want to desperately read a book; I keep stopping myself from doing so because I am afraid that the book will disappoint me.
Currently, for me that book is Sky In The Deep.
This book was my most anticipated read of 2018 and I was so excited to receive it in my owlcrate subscription 2 months ago. But I haven’t read it because I read a few negative reviews.
QOTD: Does it happen with everyone ? Or just me ? Also, if you have read it is it a 'yay' or 'nay' ?

Let’s discuss the book that is being discussed everywhere.
To all the boys I’ve loved before
QOTD: Did you watch the movie ?
Did you like the movie ?? 🤔
I love this book. LOVE the book!!! There are soooo many awesome things of the book that are missing from the movie and I don’t understand why. When I was reading; these little parts made me think that if there was a movie one day based on the book; these entire scenes would be so cute. But the scenes were missing :(
In the book the sister interactions and bonds have been shown so strong, but in the movie it hasn’t been shown at all.
The movie was cute, no doubt, but I wanted to fall in love with it as much as I love the book, but I did not :( and it really really makes me sad.
What do you all think about it ?
This is one of the hardest questions to answer for me.
I am a very season reading.
Currently I am reading contemporary which is super fun.
Overall, since I can’t pick favorite, I will pick my top 4: 🎀 Contemporary 🎀 Historic Fiction 🎀 Mystery 🎀 Paranormal
I enjoy reading mental health novels, adding it in extras since it’s not considered a separate genre ( i think ) 🎀
