What is your favorite YA book from the last few years?
I’m sick again [?!] so I’m trading in my coffee for tea and hoping a little YA Fantasy will bring me back to life.
I used to be an insanely dedicated consumer of YA, but somewhere during college I fell out of the genre, probably because most of my reading was dictated by whatever class I was taking at the time and it was often classic or contemporary but almost never young adult.
I wanted to get back into the genre and figured this would be a great place to start. It’s got great reviews, follows a classic hero’s journey, and has elements of magic with a young female protagonist. Yes please.
I’m only 30 pages in but I’m already finding myself drawn in by the narrative.

I’m so well read. Should I put this picture on my dating profile on OKFuggle?
When I started working at the library, I was shocked to learn that patrons can check out 50 items at a time! Now, such a stack seems entirely possible. When I shelve, I spy titles and think "That looks good!" "THAT looks interesting" and I tuck prospects under my arm. It can result in a funky to-be-read pile. And, though I am at the library four days a week I still rack up fines$!

Happy National Puppy Day to my brown eyed beauty. He is forever begging me to put the book down and it's never easy to say no. 😂
Oh lookie here! Black books 🖤🖤🖤 They are my absolute fave! 🖤🖤🖤
I attended a company event last night and went home around 3am after some partying and drinking 😍 Now I'm nursing a bad hangover and feeling really miserable. 🙈 Well I should have known that I am no longer my young self, and that neither my body or my brain can handle that kind of fun anymore. 😱
#repsearch#trimandthreadrepsearch It’s so great that through discovering bookstagram, I have been able to combine my passions of photography and books. What is even more excited is discovering all the fellow bookworms out there who are all amazingly talented.
This is a shout out to @trimandthread who are a small business specialising in delicate and gorgeous sewn accessories not just for your books but all aspects of your life.
Since coming to Aus, I have been eyeing up everyone’s book sleeves. They aren’t a thing in the UK yet - but I am sure they will be - but they are so pretty and so practical. Melissa’s are fabulous and along with her bookmarks, I have been eyeing up far too many of Melissa’s products for my wallet to allow!
I would love to rep for Melissa and her handmade fabric gifts because, as much as the bookstagram community is about sharing our love of books, it’s also about supporting each other. As another small business owner, I know how valuable that is. And if I can shout from the rooftops to help my fellow small businesses, why of course I will. It’s also not hard to because her products are divine!
I went to a book sale this week at my local library and left with this stack of books! I've read ALL of these before except for Wonder Woman! (I couldn't pass up a Leigh Bardugo book for $2).

I got my copy of @renegadefilmbook yesterday. #partner When Elizabeth asked me to review the book, I jumped at the chance: a book about the amazing women who changed the face of film and TV? YES PLEASE. It includes interviews with Barbra Streisand, Amy Poehler and many more icons. And the illustrations are STUNNING, @austenclaire your talent is amazing. I cannot wait to sit and read this one.
Thanks to @penguinrandomhouse for sending me a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Spring cleaning out my tbr list! 💐
I feel like I’ve spent the past few months collecting books! I’m excited to start getting through them. I started reading The Buried Giant a few months ago and stopped a few times for other books, but I’m almost done now and can start fresh on a new title. I’m terrible at reading more than one book at a time!
What’s your idea of the perfect spring read?
I'm very proud of my Mumma! She's been trying her best at trying to figure out how to make book sleeves and they're the best thing ever! 😍

Welcome to my new crib, y’all! This apartment has hella natural light, and a great spot on the balcony (as seen here) for picture-taking! This is all the creativity I could muster up - a stack of books I really want to read but that aren’t in my immediate plans. Sorry, I’m tired 😅
What are you reading today? Wish I could be finishing A Woman Is No Man!!
Many of my friends have been asking me to read this book for a long time, now that i actually have read it, I wanna thank them all for making me read this. 🌸
While reading the book, there were quite a few stages when i was at the verge of crying but i did not cry really. Some scenes made my heart heavy. There was this unspoken relation, a connection with the characters, that i can't quite place here. But i cried my heary out when the story ended and I read the Author's note. @colleenhoover 's that note is the best part about this book. Im warning y'all, it will break your heart in many pieces. -
To be honest for the first 170 or some pages, i didn't like it at all. Everything went way too smooth to be real, like a fairytale. I got really irritated with all the stuff. Then the book turned upside down and i was met with the brutal parts of reality that most of us (i repeat MOST OF US) have experienced in a way or other.
Its the type of book that everybody should read. -
