Enjoyed the workout this morning! Lower abs are a weak area for me and I struggle big time when I focus on them. But I am getting there. And the stretching afterward was perfect. My body needed it today.
What type of workout does your body love?
Hey, I'm back! Sort of in limbo right now after a night shift but wanted to say I'm on track, first day of the love your body series! Loving the recipes, definitely helping me through the wee hours trying not to fall asleep! I got the workout and daily moves in before work, then time on the cross trainer to help me sleep now which is definitely helping! I tested how well my body was on Sunday with the workout video, and I don't seem to have lost too much strength which is good. I was really worried, because I can see the amount of weight I lost just from a few days being ill but I'm determined it won't slow me down!

Had parent meetings and staff dinner yesterday which meant I missed my Monday workout 🤦♀️guess that just means I’ll have to hit it harder for the rest of the week! 💪🏻 To say my abs are burning after that workout with @karenadawn, would be an understatement. Rather than let the pain defeat me, I’m focused on it motivating me to become stronger, better and more confident! Then why not finish off with a quick arms with @studiotoneitupstefanie#flexsquad? Just to even out the burn that is!! Happy Tuesday Team!! 😘

I used a kettle bell to mix things up, but you could just as easily use a dumbbell – or anything heavy – or, if you’re just starting, bodyweight would be just fine too.✅

1️⃣Romanian deadlift to squat 3-5 sets 12-15 reps
2️⃣Reverse lunge 3-5 sets 12-15 reps
3️⃣Squat with pulse 3-5 sets 12-15 reps
💥TIP With your RDLs, ensure you keep your core strong, don’t round your back. To really work your glutes, as you bend, allow your butt to travel backwards slightly and really squeeze as you return to standing.
💥TIP With your lunges, make sure your pelvis remains neutral. If you can’t complete the move without an anterior (forward) pelvic tilt, you can tip your upper body forwards slightly to allow for the pull at your hip flexors.

Also surprised today when my toddler found my dumbbells under the bed, picked them up and said “exercise!” 🤯 I’ve only used that word before when daddy is at the gym and use bicep curl motions but never with the dumbbells so i have no idea how this 2 year old figured that out! 💛

I’m not going to lie, I get pretty excited every time my water bottle throws a party for me once I’ve hit my goal intake for the day 💧🙃 Arms are shaking after increasing my weight for my #tiudailymoves 💪
Week 2 of #tiuloveyourbody starting strong! I did both the daily moves and the Stronger workout in #studiotiu and it was 🔥🔥I went on two 1 mile walks today with the puppet, even with the snow still coming down! I'm already feeling stronger, seeing some results and feeling LOVE for my body more and more! Heading into work 2 strong and motivated!

A great reminder that i am here, choosing what I do, what I fuel my body with, and choosing what makes me happy. After a not so healthy weekend I'm more motivated to kick 🍑 this week! Oh I’ve got my first @wantable fitness edit today, and I’m keeping those I’m wearing in this pic. The leggings are thick and comfy, and the top has thin airy feel and feels great on skin. Working out in new outfit makes me happy every time 😍

Happy 30x30 day 1!!! I don’t have work today so I got to sleep in and workout a bit later! I forgot how much I love/hate 30x30 😅😅 IT IS SO HARD! But so worth it. I’m gonna try and make a point every night to stretch and foam roll 👍🏻 Meals this week have to be “eat all the veggies in your damn fridge!” Lol so hodgepodge meals of things I already have. Excited to do #lgmealplan meals next week 😋
⬅️ On the left: the very first ‘before’ picture I was actually able to take (I was so embarrassed of how bad it had gotten) when I was starting my journey with @toneitup. This was probably a month or so into forming new health and fitness habits.. ➡️ On the right: A picture I took this morning after 10 days of a new intermittent fasting schedule, roughly 1.5 years of following the @toneitupnutrition plan and working out about 70-80% of the time.
I wanted to post this today because this is where my body is NOW, and to me this represents so much more than a picture I could potentially share 7 weeks from now when my body will (hopefully lol) be closer to my goal. This represents what a CONSISTENT (again, like 70ish% of the time) schedule, lifestyle and habit change can do. If I’m being honest, my body on the right still isn’t my ‘goal’! I still pick and poke at places I want to change every day. But this body is happy — I had spaghetti for dinner last night and used regular organic noodles (and homemade TIU approved pasta sauce and chicken tenders that were to die for), I still have honey wheat toast for breakfast and I still eat pineapple pizza more regularly than I probably should tbh 😋 This body would also jump in a swimsuit and head to the beach without hesitation, this body doesn’t have to try on 10 outfits to find the right fit or one to hide my flaws (now I just try on 10 outfits bc I’m indecisive) and most importantly, this bod is HEALTHY!!! In my opinion, you really can have it all. It just takes work to find what that means for you, and you will girl! I have your back and I know hundreds of thousands of other girls who have your back too #tiucommunity

✨LYB 𝓌𝑒𝑒𝓀 𝓉𝓌𝑜 ✨ girls, it has been SO COLD here in Minnesota the past week or so. ❄️ And even though today’s #studiotoneitup class and 2 rounds of the #tiudailymoves did warm me up, I went right back to perma-freeze after my shower. A smoothie bowl was DEFINITELY out of the question, so I made this yummy bowl of oats that warmed me right up! My oat base was 1/3 cup old fashioned oats, 1 tablespoon chia seeds, and 3/4 cup of water, microwaved for 2 minutes in 1-minute increments. I topped my oats with 1/3 sliced banana, a big ol’ dollop of PB, 1/2 chopped @squareorganics chocolate coated crunch square, and some berries. YUM 🙌🏼 I hope you babes have a FABULOUS Monday! I’ll be over here thinking warm thoughts 🌴☀️ and drinking all the tea 🍵.
