Bamb Binos serving up great coffee and the perfect perch for people watching on OPR. ⠀
Have you ever noticed how important natural surveillance or good old fashioned people watching is? When shop fronts are positioned well and are designed so people can sit and watch as part of their daily activities, it makes people feel safer and more welcome. ☕️☕️☕️

Getting dark outside now and the ‘daylight’ lamp isn’t ideal so time to put the brushes down and have a glass of 🍷... in between feeding the dog and feeding myself, something about painting that makes you lose track of all time 😉 🎨
I, like most photographers tend to always venture out at sunrise/sunset but I’ve been noticing how awesome the cloud formations have been in the afternoon and here is the result. ☁️ 🌲
We visited the Pinnacles Desert today - weirdly shaped limestone rocks just sticking out from the sand. Makes you feel like you’re on some distant planet... except for all the humans around! Of which, there are plenty by the coach-load 😜. •

Happy WORLD TURTLE 🐢 DAY
Wow! Today for the #world there is not only a suitable image, but also super good news. Because the population of the green 🐢 is growing again and I think it's great.
During my visit to Western Australia at monkey Mia Beach, I just wanted to watch the dolphins that come in the morning until just in front of the beach. When the dolphins swam back to the open sea, I still spent some time on the jetty and just looked at the sea. And that's where she appeared, in the truest sense of the word, the 🐢. You've been able to see them for a while as a big dark spot at the upper seawater until then they showed up, got some air and then slowly fell down again. Wow, I'll tell you! I always looked forward to the water to see this great marine again. An indescribable feeling.
Le Grand Beach. Perfect for cruising along in your 4WD & admiring the pristine beaches & soaring landscape. My idea of heaven.

Twinkle twinkle little star 🌟 Or should we say, stars! 🌌 How spectacular is @westernaustralia's night sky captured here at Canal Rocks in @margaretriver by talented local photographer @hamishstubbs? This shot was a combination of experience, low tide and low swell, resulting in such a unique photograph we couldn't help but share it! We're incredibly lucky to have such clear night skies alongside beautiful locations like this. 📷 @hamishstubbs

How did we get so lucky?
How on earth we managed to get over 5,000 of you lovely lot, following our chaotic, unplanned, disastrous, over budget trip around the world, we do not know.
But what we do know is that without you, we wouldn’t have had the endless wonderful conversations, the tips on food, accommodation, hidden gems. We wouldn’t have had someone to listen to us when things were going horribly wrong and tell us that it’s okay and that it happens to the best of us. We wouldn’t have had 5,000 of you taking the complete and utter mick out of us when we make a tit of ourselves.
Basically, we just wanted to say the biggest thank you we possibly could! This account has made our journey one that we will never forget. We have made friends for life, we have loved every second of getting to know you and joining in on your trips as well. The community we seem to have been lucky enough to build here is just incredible.
We don’t ever want this bubble to end, but we go home in less than 2 months. So let’s make this time count and enjoy it together!😊
