💛💛 WHEATBELT WEEKENDS 💛💛
Who would of thought you could find something so beach-like in the middle of the Wheatbelt? 🏖️ Although it's not quite a beach, the salt lakes in the @WheatbeltWay provide some amazing water holes to explore all throughout the region. They vary in colour and size, making each lake a new experience and a new adventure. We think a Wheatbelt salt lake road trip weekender is in order! 📷 @insta_ang_images 📍 Chandler, in the Wheatbelt region of @WesternAustralia@Australia
Some art from inside the cells at #fremantleprison. It’s hard to believe it was still in operation until 1991! Sadly a large majority of the convicts had been sent over for Crimes of Desperation. 🥖 🥛 👨👩👧👦
As the warm weather picks up🌞 our attention turns to Underwater Trails🏊♀️ Here are our 5 top picks for this summer😁
Shoalwater Islands Marine Trail - Limestone cliffs, sandy beaches, wildlife, birds, surf, fish, swim, snorkel on a shipwreck.
Coogee Maritime Trail - Just 25 meters from shore beginning at the Omeo shipwreck and includes an artificial reef and underwater sculptures.
Jurien Bay Underwater Interpretive Trail - Gateway to Jurien Bay Marine Park with handy swim cards to help you identify the fish and coral you are likely to see on the trail.
Parker Point Snorkel Trail, Rottnest - Features a number of plaques on the sea bed which allow you to read about the abundant flora and fish life in the area.
For more information on these trails head to the Trails WA website link below.
Point Peron is also fantastic for snorkeling and they use to have an underwater snorkel trail so also worth checking out as the limestone has been carved into numerous overhangs, small caves and swim throughs very close to shore in a maximum depth of five metres.
Grab your bathers and towel and #getoutdoors this #summer😁

Standing on the edge of #kellysKnob, taking in the ominous storm, the far away rain, the crushed sunset and the gorgeous town of Knx. As if the Kimberley couldn’t get more beautiful
