As I write this we're on our way back to London. It's a bit of a sad day for us, not just because it's our last day of holidays, but because it's the last major event before we have to head back into the long distance zone in late August.
If nothing us, a long distance relationship has taught us the value of the moments we have and how to appreciate even the simplest moments with each other.
There's no feeling in the world that compares to seeing the other walk through the airport doors, and that's what keeps us going strong.
Traveling next year is not so much a chance to see the world, but to see it together, a luxury we were never sure we would have. But persistance is a powerful tool, and both of our hearts are set on making this work!
We're glad to have you along for the journey herd 🦕, so let us know who makes your heart light up when they wake through the door.
Aaaand, have you checked out the latest on the blog? We've got a new guide for Sustainable Travel Products and a Travel App Guide that was a collaboration with some amazing travel bloggers! Link in bio.
We survived!!! Our flights home went much smoother than the flights to Destin. I will be sharing more of our beach trip soon!
We made it home last night around 8:30pm and everyone slept in! (Meaning 7:30am instead of 6am)
Back to usual around here!
Speech therapy was at 9am and now it’s just a lazy movie day while mom cleans and resets!
The day after a long travel day with two toddlers feels a lot like the day after me working a 15 hour wedding day as an event planner. At some point I must have gotten hit by a truck because this body is not wanting to work today 😩
🇬🇧 In one week I will be somewhere in the clouds.
When your heart want to stay but the immigration office wants you to leave.
Time to go home.
Not on the edge of the rock to fall, but to breath deep all the life that I could.
🇮🇹 Fra una settimana esatta, sarò da qualche parte fra le nuvole.
Quando il tuo cuore ti dice di restare, ma l'ufficio immigrazione no.
It's important for me to express my creativity.. and for me each post is like art itself. Art of emotions, art of immersing ourselves in different cultures .. somehow like how colors mix together to create new colors - art of self expression. Sometimes I do get polarized into thinking black or white and get into this fixed mindset.
But I'm a work in progress - and I always feel like an oil painting whose final layer hasn't been put on yet..
Fabulous, chic, and fun. That's the @bevhillshotel vibe! Our stay here was a getaway that we'll remember for years to come.
The bright vibrant colors throughout the hotel and their outdoor scenery was enough to put a smile on our faces for our entire trip. It was a dream to stay here and has definitely been one of my favorite vacations I've had so far this year. 🌴✨ What color makes you feel the happiest? 📸: @bevhillshotel

Reflecting on my life choices in this lotus pond like..... “Should I choose to fly to Scotland or Madrid next month!?” 😂✈️
I never get too serious on my Instagram but recently I feel like a lot of people are are feeling down about algorithm changes, IG shutdowns or just Instagram life in general. It defo gets to me as well at times, but rather than focusing on something we can’t change that sucks, let’s focus on the positives of this platform!
My # 1 Instagram positive is: Meeting fellow creators from this connective ig world! I got the opportunity to go on a Tanzania safari FAM trip last summer & met @dianamiaus where we hit it off instantly! After, we stayed in touch the entire year, even though we were both very busy traveling the opposite ends of the earth. We recently waded up on a press trip together to Japan which was awesome! After flying all the way out to Asia decided to make the best of our time on this side of the world by planning a week in Vietnam with zero brand or hotel partnerships, just a cool & fun holiday we both needed. (Where I was nearly denied to enter as I didn’t get my visa before hand thinking US passports can get visa on arrival like Spanish passports...I was wrong! 🤦🏻♀️😂) We will also soon be heading somewhere super chill at the end of this month so stay tuned! This is what I choose to focus on: The Positive... great friendships and laughs thanks to IG, no drama or algorithms included! 😘😉
📍TELL ME: Who have you connected with on IG?! If you haven’t what do you like best about @instagram ... you’re on here reading this so you must like something about it, right!? Leave it in the comments below! 📸: @dianamiaus
EARTH-ING. | Earthing or grounding means connected to the earth’s surface by walking barefoot in order to transfer the energy from earth to our body.
Based on the article from Chevalier G., Sinatra T. Stephen, ... Sokal Pawel on Earthing: Health Implications of Reconnecting the Human Body to the Earth's Surface Electrons: “Earthing (or grounding) refers to the discovery of benefits—including better sleep and reduced pain.” •
It calms the nerves, relieves the stress, and brings joy without significant amount of money. And I promise to myself to do this again at the soonest. 💕 So, who’s up to this earthing / grounding too? 🙋🏻♀️ #FebrianitaTravelStories

First travel assignment in the books. The beginning of this journey has already exceeded my expectations. One of my goals starting travel nursing was to see the states. Spend some time adventuring my country and all the hidden gems it has to offer. Driving from CO > CA> OR > WA and back to my family home in California has been amazing. Spending 4 months in the Puget Sound has been a dream. From vibrant green ferns in the Hoh rainforest to historic desert land scapes in Alabama Hills, we have been able to see so much diversity. Soon we will be setting of to a state I honestly never thought I would live, Florida! And I couldn’t be more excited. Many more states to touch my bare feet on and many more stories to be told. This life is nothing short of an adventure. 🚌🌎
To more peaceful mornings waking up to chirping birds and the faint smell of firewood 🍃⛺️

Far far away on a tropical island... oh no wait, it’s France ! And not even the ever so popular French Riviera, with its beach clubs and overcrowded spaces 😉 this idyllic place is Bretagne, where you can find the most breathtaking views and often have the beach almost exclusively to yourself 🏖🐚🐠
