November: A month of #thanksgiving. What are you thankful for?
Day 17: Wind chimes! Such a simple pleasure to hear the wind making pretty music on the front porch. I’m thankful for the chimes, the wind, and our peaceful front porch.
I’d love to hear what you’re grateful for today! 🎁❤️ #thankful#hearthealth
Have been wanting to say this since ages. I am a 29-year old adult and am "grown up" and live on my own even(not very Indian i know, but thats another story😅😉) Yes I am also giving away my age which isnt a big deal for me and I wanna break the culture of hiding ones age for no good reason😁
This is my message:
Mothers and Fathers/Parents I wanna tell you from a daughter's perspective. I am 29, but I am never ever, EVER tired of hugs from my parents. My mom's hugs are solace and my place of deepest comfort, no man, friend or anyone can offer. A mother's embrace is Gods healing therapy on 🌍 So mothers, know that no matter how old your daughter or son get, even if they ask for it or not, Please continue showing this form of healing to your kids. They need it. WE need it. Yes, sometimes we wont ask for it cuz we are lost sometimes, but honestly speaking we need it and we dont even know it.
Regardless of age, hug your child and let them know you love them or the world will tell then what love is and its not always the truth. It's more lies in the world than truth. More impurity than purity. More heartbreaks than solace. "Some" Indian traditions think of hugging as awkward and we stop hugging our kids cuz they are older or whatever, but trust me you need to do your part regardless of the tantrums and no's you get. I know its a hard job being a parent, but also know that you are a representative of who God is to them.
And my message to teens/my peers and friends is:
Go hug your parents man! Find love in the right place. Ask for a hug, even if they are grumpy or cross with you.
Force hugs on your mom, she'll love it 😉

I didn’t realize the lesson I was teaching my daughter yesterday, she learned what gratitude feels like for the receiver! She wrote thank you notes for birthday gifts and wrote everyone’s name kinda big on all the envelopes before I could write addresses. So I let her hand deliver these to people we saw yesterday (which was a lot because it was such a busy day) So I watched as she bashfully lit up as they read the note. And then she told me later how good it felt watching them read her note. I’m glad we didn’t mail them after all! 🤗💗🌈💖🍁 #gratitude#gratitudeisthebestattitude#love#thankful#gratefulheart#blessed
Love this beautiful cutting board our friends Jack and Patti Rehill gave us for our Blog Launch Party a few days ago. Aside from it being a beautiful cutting board, it is a great reminder to be thankful and count all the blessings in our lives. We are all blessed in so many ways. We are most thankful for all the friendships we have in our lives. It is a joy to bring people together around great food and enjoy meaningful conversations. We hope all of our friends have a wonderful Thanksgiving this week and are THANKFUL for all the blessings in their lives. God Bless!
I’ve made a lot of mistakes this year and learned a lot of lessons but I would never take them for granted. You take a risk when you put yourself out there. To me it’s better to make a mistake than to never have taken a risk. I would hate it if I got everything right the first time because I would not know what perseverance means. Trust me if you are thinking about doing that video just do it. If you are thinking about going to the gym just do it. Don’t be afraid to do it be more afraid of not being about say you tried .

Sunday’s = my crafty days! ✨ I love making roller blends, room sprays, face toners, hair growth serums, capsules for my hubby, & so much more! 🌿 this book, called Oils & Glass was the first thing I ever purchased when i started my oily journey. It has so many awesome blends, recipes, & more, to help you get started with learning how to make wellness items for you & your fam 💏 A little secret?! I buy all of my team members this book, & include it in their fun mail package when they join with me! 💕 my current favorite thing I’ve made so far?!.
Acne Face Toner; 💧5 Drops Gentle Baby 💧5 Drops Lavender 💧5 Drops Lemon 💧5 Drops Frankincense 💧2 Tablespoons Rose Witch Hazel 💧Topped off with Vitamin E oil.
I spray my face every morning & night.. or after I’m done washing it. A nice refreshing, natural, organic, toning, & acne combating spray! ✨🌿
Less than a week until Thanksgiving so we’ll have some reflections on giving thanks and gratitude. I love this by Mother Teresa. “The best way to show my gratitude to God is to accept everything, even my problems, with joy.” That joy that is unwavering and not dependent on circumstance. Joy in the good and the bad. I don’t find this practice to be as easy to live, but I love surrounding myself with people who help me remember this.
