Already missing my island getaway... this photo was taken at the top of the view point of Koh Nang Yuan. .
I’m currently 32 hours into a 48 hour trip to Northern Thailand. Can’t wait to eat all the amazing food in Chiang Mai I’ve heard about all trip from so many of the people I met along the way. So excited!

This is by far my favorite temple we found ourselves exploring on our honeymoon. This photo needed no editing, those colors are exactly what it looks like in person and it’s absolutely mesmerizing. There was barely anyone there unlike all of the other temples in Bangkok and it lent itself to a perfect moment for reflection and gratitude. 📍 Wat Paknam 📸 by @machajohn

The resorts wooden villas blend beautifully within the natural landscape and spread across the 38 acres, all the villas are well spread out to ensure privacy. The property is so big, it’s not practical to walk everywhere, so the resort offers a 24/7 transport service.
👉🏽 My resort review will be posted next Monday!

A different view of my favourite temple in Thailand! Fun fact: in the 20th century, Wat Rong Khun was in bad shape and had no funds to repair/renovate it⚒. But in the 90’s, a local artist by the name of Chalermchai funded and re-built the temple. 🙌🏽 💙
A winding string of events happened that lead me to have my electronics submerged in Phi Phi Island, destroying my beloved camera and phone underwater. The only 2 tools I needed for this travel job. Oops.
Shit hit the fan. But it's ok cause I befriended 2 travellers who low-key turned out to be Indian superstars and I am going to Bollywood to boogie with them. I also made friends with this monkey who climbed onto me and proceeded to jump onto the boat, steal a packet of Chips Ahoy and motion sickness tablets. He then devoured the whole packet in front of me and drunkenly climbed up the mountain.
Thanks Thailand, alive and well 🐒

Elephant Nature Park, located in Chiang Mai, is one of Thailand’s few true elephant sanctuaries. This wonderful organization has recently developed a handful of off-site projects referred to as the “Saddle Off” program. .
The elephants in this program were previously used for logging or tourist rides. Elephant Nature Park has convinced the owners of these elephants that they can be a successful operation without a saddle and by showing the elephants kindness. ENP has agreed to work with them in exchange for their promise to no longer work or ride these beautiful animals.
