Cooler nights are here! Cozy up with the relaxed, modern style of our Aldona bed throws and pillows. They are a great weight for fall, not too much, but enough. Woven in a natural, airy linen gauze and finished with a hand worked self fringe.
Are you ready for fall? Or do you wish summer could last for another month👋?

✨Our Weaving Process Revival ✨With the love for wool and a holistic way of making our textiles, we have encouraged our team to use woolen yarn in the warp of the carpets - after many decades of not doing so and using cotton yarn. Once cotton yarn was available in the local markets around the 1980s the weavers preferred this as it was quick to install it and would not break.
Luckily some of our weavers belong to the older generation and still now how to do it. 💪
This style of warp is no longer practiced and after working in Ladakh for 4 years I have never seen anyone weaving on a woolen warp.
So that's why this is a real big change for us and the rugs! 👌
The 100% wool makes it an even more exquisite textile. We will share some images soon of our small mats we made from this beautiful dark grey brown warp in August. 🌿🙌🐏

Sumérgete en el color ROSE 🌹 TELAS para TAPICERÍA de ALTA DECORACIÓN
Our traditional Turkish weavers use natural dyestuff to create a palette of moon shadows: the murky greens, blues, purples and grays seen in a midnight garden. The beautiful “dearth of color” in patterns woven by leaves, vines & branches suffused with moonlight. They create what the poet Soul Survivor describes as “a tapestry of mystery on their looms, the woof and warp of dreamers.” Come find the hand-loomed textiles of your dreams at Jennifer’s Hamam.
Up close on that custom piece from a bit ago...I’ve been in a bit of a slump, artistically-speaking, lately..well maybe not even a slump so much as I feel like my current piece is very time-consuming and I have so many other things on my plate as well. But that just means my fingers need to knot a little faster I guess 😊
