Grow in Unity. •
Responsibility is a word that I can think of when I see these children tending and caring for these plants. It is an onion, perhaps for a science project. They are very proud of their achievement and during recess, they tend to these plants, watering them and checking their growth. In this picture, I love to see that regardless of race or religion, these kids help each other to grow towards a common goal and love each other.
It's easy to criticize ourselves for where we are today, but where were you 5 years ago? What would that person think of you today? Would you be proud of what you've accomplished in that time? You've probably come much further than you thought! Time passes much more quickly than we think. Whether we reach our goal of fluency or are only able to take a language class for a season or two, it will always be worth it. The return is in something to look forward to on a dark winter's evening, a new friend, new knowledge, a kind instructor, and who knows? Maybe 5 years from now (or less!), you'll be casually holding a conversation in your new language and the thought will briefly pass of how remarkable that would seem to the person you are right now. Wouldn't that be something? 😊 Winter classes now enrolling at languagecenter.tennessee.edu
All the time in the world
уйма времени, все время мира
a large amount of time available
Don't hurry – we have all the time in the world.- Не спеши, у нас уйма времени.
I got all the time in the world - У меня есть сколько угодно времени.
P.S. "We Have All the Time in the World" is a James Bond theme and popular song sung by Louis Armstrong.

Another unique thing during the assembly is that selected pupils are required to play instruments for them to march to class, before and during the assembly as well. The songs that were played was The Saints Go Marching, The Ants Go Marching and a few others. It's amazing how at a young age these pupils are trained to be disciplined and be mature in learning. •

Here’s our #videoexample! 🎬😊 Our #idiom of the day is “If the shoe fits, wear it“, which means “if a description applies to you, then accept it“. Usage in a movie ("Sex and the City"): - This way.
- Aren't I a little old to be introduced as your boyfriend?
- Point taken. From now on, you'll be my man-friend.
- That sounds like a dog.
It's everyone's obligation to rid themselves of the need to have opinions about what transpires within the absolute sovreignity of other people's space much as we do not vote in other people's countries.
Every classroom has a water dispenser and the pupils of the class are responsible for taking care of the dispensary. They also have a rack where the pupils keep their stainless steel cups. The school produces its own drinkable water by having a water filtration and treatment system and recycling used water. They also generate their own income by selling raw materials and goods. This is a practice rarely seen in Malaysian schools which is the importance of hydration, cleanliness, and responsibility.
How to solve a problem? By rock-paper-scissors of course!
The first thing I realised when I entered this school is that the pupils here play rock-paper-scissors in order to solve a dispute or to come to an agreement. It is a very interesting concept to see pupils do this at a really young age by leaving the decision up to chance and luck and accepting the outcome whatever it may be. This is very reminiscent of the concept of Karma in Buddhism and Redho in Islam since these are the two major religion in this school. •
