Taking my client to back to her natural.
Client began with a ombré
We created this colour scattering highlights through out the ends and Colouring the left over colour with her natural colour.
Such a beautiful result
That contrast though 😩 • I darkened her root to give the blonde maximum brightness ✨

I always have so much fun with this gal! 😍🌻 We did a big chop and blended out her roots with fine, teased, baby light foils ✨ and finished with this banging peachy pink 🌸🧡

Back in late August, I had the pleasure to meet Ms. Heidi. She had gotten a foilayage 2wks prior to her visit w/me, but it just wasn’t *exactly* what she envisioned. After applying a show root, teased foil highlights, & a gloss later, she was happy💁🏻♀️
Thanks to the newly engaged Ms. Kimberly for stopping by and getting her foilayage done with moi this past July. A traditional hand painted balayage would’ve been my first choice, but she had done an eggplant/red brown single process box color back in November 2017. She was looking to go brighter for summer & I felt a foilayage would give me the maximum lift needed to break through the previous single process still in her hair. 5hrs later, and she was ready for all the wedding planning ahead👰🏻💍
It was a delight to see Ms. @eugesaurus in July for her summer time foilayage. I love using foilayage/teased foil techniques on my dark brunette clients that want cool toned level 7-9 highlights.

This babe wanted to keep things warm as we head into fall🍂 Adding some teased foils pieces to keep things bright and soft.
Achieved this beauty by lightening throughout with micro teased sections⭐️ Using the best @foilmefoils@delorenzo_haircare This colour was achieved after lightening through previous dark brown. Swipe 👉🏼 for before pic xx
All foils, baby! I have been using foils SO much more lately to create different looks, including this one- used @alfaparfmilano_official 9.04 with 30vol all over in foils, then tease-foiled throughout with lightener. Toned with @redken 9GI to seal it in and create that subtle warmth on the blondes 😍
Rooted icy blonde ✅
Refreshed her blonde with a combo of microweaves and teased foilayage, using #Joico#blondelife with the mighty #olaplex . Rooted and cooled down her base with #shadeseq 6T, 7NB, 7P. Toned with 9V. Her rooted blonde will take her to Christmas maybe even into the New Year! Can you say #lowmaintenance 🙋🏼♀️
I’ve been transitioning Julia from traditional balayage to foilayage the last 2 sessions. Love seeing a bright blend come to life on hard to lift hair 💞. I love the foilayage technique for 3 main reasons...
1- contrast! I can create immediate blended contrast with a tease of my comb and a color brush!
2- no need for 1,000,000 baby lights and foils followed by a shadow root, or a melting toner to address the transition of layering balayage for a brighter effect
3- consistency of level when lifting with no in between colors to create the blend I desire.
Don’t get me wrong... I still love me some balayage and the dimension of colors achieved when layering over time, a lived in look is my favorite 🖤. But sometimes you need that POP and you need it NOW 🤪
Want to give your hair a more natural look ?
Teased foils are the answer!
They give your hair a softer highlighted appearance. Allowing your natural colour to shine through.

Full teased foil using wella blondor 20vol on her regrowth and 10vol on her pre-lightened ends, leaving hair in between foils
Toned with redken shades 9nb and 8v 👌🏼
