Meet June! A team member for over 16 years, June actually began her Misto Lino career when we had a store in Walnut Creek! She has been at our Lafayette location since it opened in 2008, working not only in sales but also serving as head merchandiser. Her innate sense of style, warm personality, exceptional customer service and drive to always take our store to the next level make June an absolute treasure to both customers and coworkers! #teamwork#bettereveryday#meetthestaff#gojunee#stylemaven#alwaysfabulous

Often one of the best ways to address classroom dynamics and encourage cohesion is through experiential activities. Our lesson on classroom community provides fun and useful insights about how one student's behavior can affect everyone’s ability to learn and how engagement depends on everyone.

Lunch made✔️ Ready and raring to go for day 3 of the @anatomytrainsofficial fascial dissection!
Today we will remove the fascia profunda and look more deeply into how our model's plentious scar tissue affects the tension lines along her tissues.
Daisy (we are asked to name our model, because this is a personal and respectful process) has a hip replacement, and possibly a reversion as she has scars front and back of her right hip. She has two abdominal scars and the scar if a drainage tube and a back surgery scar.
We have been fascinated to see the inner effects of all this scarring as we move her arms and legs.
I say every day that it's all connected, and I saw that in the last dissection, but it's even more clear this time!
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is well-known as one of the most evidence-based therapeutic approaches and the use of CBT as a preventative teaching strategy to reduce childhood anxiety has been well documented. To understand the basics of CBT you need only understand the cognitive triad. Though it may sound fancy, the premise of the cognitive triad is quite simple: changing your thoughts, your emotions, or your behaviors will in turn affect the other two. Empowering Education teaches students K-8 the principles of CBT through interactive and hands-on activities.
