Today, I dedicate this day to my cousin, Minnie Nash who won her battle with Breast Cancer. She walked IN faith, walked BY faith and FOUGHT for her life in faith! I’m so happy she didn’t give up in the fight. You are a fighter Minnie Jean!💪🏾 I honor you on this day for your battle and surviving breast cancer. My prayer is that you stay a SURVIVOR!!🌸 #TeamMinnie#SheWON#BreastCancerSurvivor
MINNIE UPDATE: We have exciting news for those following Minnie’s story! Minnie came to us in June in need of an emergency amputation after severe matting had cut off circulation to her leg. After many weeks of healing and some behavioral help learning to be OK with a collar and leash, she was finally ready for adoption! It took just one day for her new family (pictured) to meet her and fall in love!
Meanwhile, thanks to a three-month investigation by ARL Animal Care & Control officers, the person who was responsible for Minnie’s condition – her previous owner – has been found and has been charged with animal neglect.
Kudos to the ARL Animal Control team for tracking down the person responsible for Minnie's suffering. And congrats to Minnie and her new family! Thanks to everyone who donated to our Miracle Medical Fund to help Minnie and other pets like her who come to us in desperate need of medical care.
