On May 14th I will be embarking on a cycle from London to Dublin in aid of the 2019 Irish Life Staff Charities, Pieta House and Stewards School.
The cycle will take 4 days totalling just under 500km for the first 3 days. Both Charities to great work and are very worthy causes.

"The Divine Destination Collection brought us on a tour to the largest fish market here in Bali. It was pretty amazing to see all of the people who would come there in the morning to get their food for the rest of the day. It was really cool learning about the people who live here. Throughout the whole day I've just had a smile on my face.
I got here two days ago and it's been the best two days I've had on vacation ever in my life. The Divine Destination Collection really takes a vacation and turns it up to 10." - Jack, one of our guests on our 2018 Bali trip.

I am in the middle of reading this beautiful book at the moment (so no spoilers please!) It’s wonderful so far. The author has a fabulous knowledge of the era and this is reflected in her writing style ✨ I’ll put my rating after I finish!
UPDATE: @alisongoodmanauthor YOU WIZARD!! I cannot fathom the time and effort it took to do all that research on the Regency era in order to make this beautiful story as historically accurate as possible. The most wonderful information is hidden in those pages about a time I wish I could’ve seen. Incredible attention to detail. 4.5/5 on Goodreads
London, April 1812. On the eve of eighteen-year-old Lady Helen Wrexhall’s presentation to the queen, one of her family’s housemaids disappears-and Helen is drawn into the shadows of Regency London. There, she meets Lord Carlston, one of the few who can stop the perpetrators: a cabal of demons infiltrating every level of society. Dare she ask for his help, when his reputation is almost as black as his lingering eyes? And will her intelligence and headstrong curiosity wind up leading them into a death trap? #bookstagram#book#novel#fiction#bookworm#bookish#bookaddict#books#tddc#thedarkdaysclub#ladyhelen#lordcarlston#regency#demons
Río Secreto could very well be one of the great wonders of the world. It’s like stepping back in time to witness something mysterious and truly spectacular.
In this surreal locale, we were able to observe natural history dating back millions of years as we hiked and swam through a 600-meter route full of beautiful stalactites and stalagmites.
We went deep inside an underground cave, where we experienced true silence among some of the most dramatic mineral formations in the world.
If you are planning a trip to the Mayan Riviera, we can't recommend a stop at Río Secreto enough.

Sue Kenney, who has walked the Camino 25 times, will be joining us in May when we travel to Spain to walk the Camino.
As our group’s spiritual guide, she will share her experiences with us and provide some tips on what to look out for along the way – but at the same time, she will be careful not to divulge too much about the journey ahead. “I don’t want to tell them too much, or tell them what to experience,” she says. “I’m not creating their journey for them.” Visit our blog to learn more about Sue - and our trip. And if this journey calls to you, register soon as there is only 1 room left.

"On our first jungle walk, we saw a boa constrictor, we saw a tarantula, the most beautiful birds in their natural environment.
All of us have been, literally, astounded at this trip. I have never experienced anything like this in my life and I would highly recommend to anybody who's even thinking about this, should go because it's fantastic." - Debbie, one of our guests on our 2017 Peru trip.

During our 2017 trip to Peru, we had the pleasure of traveling to Huilloc, a rural indigenous community in the Andes. We got to meet the locals in their homes and see how they live.
It was an experience that deeply touched the souls of many when we interacted with the villagers, and shared in their culture with dancing and singing.
On of our travelers had this to say about the experience: “Loved interacting with the locals, witnessing their contagious enthusiasm for their own culture and traditions.”

“The purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
Digital detoxes are growing in popularity. A digital detox refers to a period of time during which a person refrains from using connected devices such as smartphones and computers. It's meant to be an opportunity to focus on real world interactions, as well as reduce stress.
It's no surprise then that travelers are also looking to disconnect when travelling. There are hotels that offer limited (or no) WiFi. Others, like the Ayana Resort and Spa in Bali, are introducing ‘No Mobile Policies.’ The Ayan initiative bans mobile phone usage by its poolside between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The move is part of the resort’s ‘In the moment’ campaign, which is all about connecting with nature without the pressure of clicking a perfect snap or constantly being obsessed with social media.
Have you incorporated a digital detox in your travels?

In May 2020, we will travel to the south of France where we will trace the fabled footsteps of Mary Magdalene, who is said to have arrived in France after the crucifixion and lived and worked there as teacher and healer.
She is regarded by many as an archetype of the divine feminine, an energy that has often been quelled in this world and yet is much needed (now more than ever). On this journey we discover the lore of her journey and immerse ourselves in the beauty, elegance and gastronomy that is France… all in comfort and luxury!

We all love to travel, but travel can have an impact on our skin. Whether travelling by air, road or rail, the various changes in the environment can have a negative effect on your skin.
We've talked to independent skin care specialists and some local spas to help us come up with these top five skin care tips while travelling.
Staying Hydrated - Drink water and eat water-rich foods.
Practice Safe Sun - Wear sunscreen no matter what time of year you're travelling.
Cleanse and Moisturize - Before you travel, cleanse your face thoroughly with a gentle cleanser and apply a heavy moisturizer.
Don't Forget Your Kisser - Having a good moisturizing lip balm with an SPF will help to avoid chapped lips and keep your lips in top kissing condition!
Get Your Zzzz's - If you are able to catch some sleep while travelling you will notice that not only will you feel less groggy, but you will also look well rested as your body has had the time that it needs to repair cells while you sleep.

We spent several days in beautiful Dublin when we last visited Ireland. Our time in the city included a walking tour of the downtown core, stops to major tourist attractions (including a visit to the famous Trinity College and to St. Patrick’s Cathedral) and our very own private musical pub crawl.
The city was vibrant and alive with charm; a beautiful melding of the old and new.
"For me, everyday is a new experience, you wake up with excitement and not knowing exactly what's going to happen. I think when people sign up for the Divine experience, it's something that you have to be ready for. For me, this is my first time on one of these journeys and every situation and experience has been very uplifting and a positive one." - Beau, one of our guests on our 2018 Bali trip.
