Beautiful trip today from Sydney to Port Macquarie with a little stop in Newcastle and some Eatern Water Dragon lizards along the way. Goosebumps when visiting the Sea Acres Nature Reserve in Port Macquarie... Tacking Point Lighthouse is a spot atop of a rocky headland which offers stunning panoramic views over the Tasman Sea in which we saw whales and dolphins swimming today! 😍Besides that, the Three Brothers Mountains are visible from far away which are important spiritual places for the local Aboriginal Birpai people. These mountains are a place where they feel a connection to their country and ancestors and tell a dreamtime story of three brothers who were killed by a witch called Widjirriejuggi and were buried where the mountains stand. The youngest of the three was Dooragan, that now carries the name for one of the national parks.
By amazing coincidence, when Captain James Cook passed the area on 12 May 1770 he named the mountains Three Brothers, since "these Hills bore some resemblance to each other". Touching to feel that kind of trinity today while being in this special place. Deeply grateful feeling the connection with myself, the world around me and the universe 💛🙏🏾 Also, this place is called as the capital of the koalas. Looking so much forward to visit the Koala Hospital here tomorrow!
Le sea cliff bridge offre une expérience automobile unique, surtout lorsqu'on est en décapotable, les cheveux au vent. On se sent libres comme l'air ! Le pont est également impressionnant vu de plus haut. 🌉
