Challange in conflict
Conflict in not finding a car park, lines in the bank on our busiest day or the person that jumped the traffic lights
These can give insight into our true state.
A rational head space would never see us react to such things in the manner we often do
Conflict can enter, taking hold, over time and left unrecognised in their effect they tend to influence if not become our default mode and reaction to stressors
Breath attention and down regulation practices are the opportunity to recognise these impacts.
Allowing more calm and connection in to our lives biz the breath is the ability to challange conflict in our day to day
Gracias @caro_arbelaez !
A (super long 🙄) note from my mom: We made the decision to move to Orlando just over a year ago when we had gotten back from Penny's 2nd Disney World trip in less than 2 years. We were already planning our next vacation to the World and thought why not just make the move? Why not be as close as we can be to the place we love going back to time and time again? Why not be able to take Penny to see the wonderful world created especially for dreamers like her whenever we wanted? And so we sold our house, packed up our entire life and drove it 22 hours south. It's been a year and change and yes, there are hard days being so far from home. There are days it would be great to drop Penny off at Nana's or Nonna's house and have a break. There are days when we want to be home with our loved ones and cannot. But then there are days where we see that smile of hers and we know this was a perfect decision for us. Days when that face of hers lights up in between conversations about making dresses for Pascal and playing hide and seek in the curtains. Days where the fairytale becomes reality, even for just a little bit. For every ounce of wondering if moving was the right decision there is a pound of assurance that it was. There will always be people and places and things from home that will be dearly missed. But now we are making memories in our new home. Because we dreamt it and we did it. ❤
