Today was one of the hardest days of my life.
For the past few months, I was working toward a specific goal, only to realize that this "dream" of mine was actually taking a major toll on my body.
I finally came to the realization that this was not the right choice for me, so I figured it was best to just set myself free from all the anxiety, depression, and worry surrounding this life-altering decision.
As much as I had wished for this certain thing to happen in my life, I now understand that it's just not right for me. After all, my health, stability, and overall well-being must always come first!
Regardless, I am now able to see the positive side of everything that happened on this horrific day. It really opened my eyes and made me understand who I truly am, and what I actually want, need, and deserve out of life.
Long story short, I just wanted to share my experience with all of you as a reminder to always #takecare of yourself, and don't compare your life to anyone else's. Everyone's situation is different, and that's ok!

After your therapy treatments, whether an adjustment or massage, relaxing in a warm Epsom salt bath not only helps release toxins, it also helps release muscle tension, sedates the nervous system, and is a natural exfoliant, leaving the skin soft and smooth.
Besides a bath, you can also try a foot soak, adding about a ¼ cup of salts to a shallow pan of water is enough.

How do you find balance between the ebbs and flow of life?
Progress looks different everyday... Some days it's just rest and rejuvenation, other days it's planning and action. Pray, Listen to your mind/ body, take note of how you feel without judgment and do what feels right.

A friendly reminder to our fellow online business owners: it’s time to call it a night!
We know your to-do list is miles long and you find it hard to definitively end your work day. You’re not alone! Use this as your sign that you’ve done enough today— drink your nighttime tea, read a book, listen to some relaxing music and wind down.
I would love your opinion on this 🤲🏼

The internet is full of information on each of these subjects but it’s a lot to sort through to find honest answers that are most relevant to you and your busy lives.

It may not be gym related but the gym helped me find it. This is me wanting to share something personal with you. I struggle everyday but I'm not the only one. What you see here is called preventive maintenance and genetics. This is what i take everyday to survive. It may seem like alot but in all honesty its little to be able to wake up every morning. I received the shit end of hereditary diseases. Heart disease runs so high on both sides of my family that the ones with the problems drop dead in their early 60's. But for me it was earlier then that. My late 30's. Some will say u can control all this with diet but what u dont know is that i was at my lowest weight and best physical shape ever. So diet had nothing to do about it for me. I was a walking stroke waiting to happen 194/127. Yup thats high for sure and let me tell u the fucking headaches were out of this world.
The point is dont ever turn a blind eye to a pressure headache or a chest pain.Listen to your gut and seek help because this issue won't go away. Your health is worth the medical bill. Because a lifetime with your kids has no price tag. My doctor was a pushy bastard and made me go to the private sector for a big test and we got good news that my arteries are clean. So i was young when it all began but we have something to start with if anything arises. #selfcare#heartdisease#trainhard#knowyourworth#takecare#strongwomen#dontforgetyourmeds

There are many reasons to take care of your body!!
Recovery, re-hab, staying injury free, staying strong, ready for life and sports, balance, stability, fall prevention, proprioception... etc.
I do my best to help teach and share knowledge of the body, brain and human movement.
HERE ARE 2 EXCELLENT VISUALS I PUT TOGETHER FOR YOU. Understanding the human body and movements will help put the body back together, and doing exercises that serve the mechanical purpose; not just doing random things and not understanding why.
A few facts/tips 💪
1. The central nervous system. It gets stimulated with exercise. Also important, when you stand on BOSU balls, balance disc and balance pads this system gets stimulated even more. Which is important.
2. Posture is important for balance and walking. See all the deep muscles in the spine and other muscles of the core and trunk of the body. Needed for walking. Standing on these balance items, as you engage your core and stand tall strengthens posture, as well as other exercises.
3. Look at the spine and how different areas control different functions and movements. See how good posture will help, by looking at these illustrations.
4. The brain sends a message to the deep deep spine muscles, to stabilize the body, before it moves the arms and legs for movement.
5. Balance, stability and walking begins at the SPINE.
6. There are so many muscles in the body. New pathways may be needed at muscles you are not even aware of, even the very small but important muscles.
7. The trunk of the body (center/core) needs to be strengthened as well as retraining the balancing system by stimulating the central nervous system. And keeping a strong spine.
I share this, muscles and exercises in my books at
And on amazon.
