Today I took part in something worthwhile. I was the voice of the voiceless. It was the first time I participated in vegan activism, to promote the end of cruelty to other beings. I am so happy I took the step and became a part of this. I can only tell you how much I urge you to do the same. Go vegan. Speak up for those weaker than you. They need you.
The importance of rest after exercise! 💯 You don’t grow in the gym, you grow during rest. I’m the gym you are tearing your muscles down so they build up stronger DURING REST!

Public speaking is a great passion of mine🤙
Keep in mind, I suffered from extreme anxiety at times and as a kid would have panic attacks in public😅
It’s all about prep, and practice. The more I do it, the better I get. If you want to start sharing your story, there are countless outlets to do it.
Go get um👊
So many times we are focused on the future or the past. We are creating scenarios in our heads, which are distracting us from the only thing that is real, this exact moment.
Let's take a step back from time to time and enjoy the moment as it is, because that's how it's supposed to be. Be grateful about who you are and where you are. This way we are creating a beautiful place for ourselves to start.
We need to make this a habit, the effect will be amazing. Let's go! 🌞🤗
Hi, my names Michael I'm 32 and this is my story.
I have always suffered from being majorly underweight for my age since early on in life and its something I have always had difficulty taking action to change. Now I am at the point in my life that this has to change from today and its something I'm facing head on and challenging myself to push every possible limit.
I created this instagram for my own record of progression as well as being able to help others in a similar position to start taking action and making the changes they so desire in their lives. I hope you will join me on my journey as I work to obtain the body I've wanted all these years.
PS for those laughing at how skinny I am, you are my motivation so please laugh all you want because next year we will see who's laughing 😂
Thank you for your time 👍🏼😎

There is a saying that goes, "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift, that's why the call it the present"
You might wonder if your dreams can wait, let me remind you--they can't.
You might wonder if you've missed the boat, let me assure you--you haven't.
Stop worrying about what you haven't done yet or what you could have done if only you started earlier.
Stop getting stuck on what might happen if you take the dive, or how things might end up.
This moment is all you are promised.
This moment your chance.
This moment is YOUR moment.
So take action, move forward...
And do it NOW.
Because now is all you have. "Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes." Matthew 6:34
Food journaling is one tool for accountability when it comes to changing our eating habits, but it isn't the end-all-be-all that we sometimes make it out to be. Or at least it wasn't for me. I used to track my food religiously. Well, I say that...but actually, I was either all in: counting and tracking everything OR I was completely burnt out and over it, tracking nothing. There was no middle ground.
Ironically enough, when I gave myself permission to not track my food for a while, it always ultimately forced me to start right back to journaling again as a way to regain control. I went back and forth, on and off this cycle for a good 10 years or so.
I can't tell you the exact earth-shattering turning point that stopped me in my tracks and said "okay, Sadie, this is stupid. There has to be another way" because that never happened.
What did happen, though, was over time, I started consistently questioning those long-held beliefs I around food: that I "had to" to measure, count and record everything I ate in order to lose weight and be successful. And that I "had to" be held accountable by something or someone or I'd never be in control of what I put in my mouth.
And the more I questioned those beliefs, it started to become really damn clear to me that the only thing I really "had to" do was to let go of the obsessive need for control because only then could I finally begin cultivating a relationship with food based around joy instead of stress (a process that has taken me YEARS to work through).
Has it been easy? Oh hell no. TBH, it probably would have been easier to just stick to tracking every single bite of food I ate for the rest of my life and continue on with the cycle of being "on" or "off" because that would have required zero change, zero thought and zero discomfort.
...but rewarding? Oh hell yes. The freedom that comes along with making peace with food is a feeling that I wouldn't give up for anything (plus, the amount of time I've saved over the years by not having to figure out the points value of a piece of freakin' pizza is probably equivalent to like 6 months or something 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️).

I was listening to a @marieforleo podcast with Steven Pressfield on Sunday and they were discussing all the distractions we have in today’s time. We are constantly saturated with information and other people doing similar things that you’d like to do. But in the end of it all you have to block out the distractions and do what you’re heart tells you to do. We all have something special and something different that we can bring to the community. Follow your own star. ⭐️ Complete your own goals and dreams. Don’t let the distractions get the best of you. ❤️
Food wrappers are among the top items collected during beach cleanups. In addition to polluting the marine environment, these small plastics are easily ingested by marine animals and can cause illness or even death. Help rid our marine environment of this debris. Tap 1 if you could use a little more patience. I know I do.
last night i was invited to speak to a small group of kids ages 12-18 about emotional wellness and suicide prevention. These can be such tough topics, but SO important to discuss openly! In our podcast @davidkoz_ always teaches: “the Kryptonite to depression is CONNECTION” so last night i talked about 5 connecting points we can all be aware of- if we are feeling “off”: anxious, overwhelmed, sad, withdrawn, negative or even hopeless... 1️⃣ connecting with friends. Is there something that needs to be resolved? Face to face is BEST! 2️⃣ family connection. It matters! At all ages! 3️⃣ connecting with your interests. Are you taking time? Doing what you love? 4️⃣ connecting and loving yourself. Sleep. Exercise. Nutrients! talk nice to yourself! 5️⃣ check your connection with GOD. Pray. Listen to uplifting music. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ if you are noticing a negative vibe happening ... TAKE ACTION.. ask for help. #youmatter ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #wellness#connect#takeaction

Today’s #wcw is the brave, incredible athlete and admittedly human @SerenaWilliams. ‘I don’t cheat to win; I’d rather lose.’ Whether or not you agree with her, debate requires us to engage and address double standards. For Serena it has always been about the game itself, but I’m equally inspired by how she stands up for herself and others.
After severe pregnancy complications, she was chastised for wearing a catsuit which served a medical function, as well as, a ‘shoutout to all the moms out there who had to come back and try to be fierce,’ prompting a dress code alteration amidst Alize Cornet receiving a similar sexist violation.
More recently, she was punished and fined for her reaction to what she deemed an unfair call. After losing that controversial match to Osaka, Williams defended her against the crowd, ‘She played well. No more booing. Congratulations, Naomi.’ It was a powerful display of sisterhood and grace in the face of unfair treatment.
