Every day offers a fresh start, and i love to approach my time shooting photos the same way!
Each time you visit a place, the light is ever-changing, the thoughts in your head are different, your inspiration comes from a new place and you find a spark that may not have been there the last time you visited!
(Sydney- Australia) ✈

An Aussie architectural icon, the Sydney Opera House was designed in 1956 and stills looks strikingly modern today. Winning a place on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2007, creating this fin shaped building was no easy fete. Originally estimated to cost $7 million and take 4 years to complete, it stretched to a whopping $104 million and was finished after 14 years. Sometimes the image you take doesnt have the pop that you expect. Take a step back and look at the reason you took the photo in the first place. The result is often right in front of you.
This photo for me was all about the textures and the golden tones that I encountered when the glowing sun reflected on the tiles.
By selectively cropping what was most important and removing the distractions, i was able to bring out the beauty in this photo and offer a unique perspective in the process!
As someone who loves to spend their free time with camera in hand, i often find myself shooting in the same locations when I'm in my home town. To prevent my creative block when taking photos, i ensure that I am visiting my location through different eyes every time. I achieve this by attaching different lenses, visiting at different times of the day, and seeing my subjects from different angles.
If getting out of my comfort zone means lying on a road, leaning into a bush or climbing a tree, then I will do what it takes to see this beautiful world from a fresh perspective!
