Calton Hill, Edinburgh, Scotland 🏴 Repost: @iangblack ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ Calton Hill in the city of Edinburgh is home to a couple of historic monuments. However the most photographed one is this Dugald Stewart Monument (see the photo). Dugald Stewart was a Scottish philosopher.
The monument was designed by Scottish architect William Henry Playfair. It was completed in September 1831.
I never visited Calton Hill during my trip to Edinburgh. But it would have been a great spot to admire this city. Calton Hill is famous for the stunning views it offers.
All the city’s famous monuments can be seen from here. You can see so for yourself in this picture.
Isn’t Edinburgh just wonderful? There is so much to do during the weekend.

we're no stranger to long and winding road in Scotland. taking breaks in between for photos are mandatory here. that's part of the journey, it'll be all worth it once you've reach the destination. applies everywhere. It's ok if your destination changes as well, if it makes you feel more fulfilled. #latergram
🍳Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!!! 🥣For those with allergies traveling and finding a good breakfast can sometimes be a challenge. 😋Usually when you find something you don't tend to vary. What I loved about last weekends travel.
My friend Jen had the same allergies😊 so all our meals were so much easier.
Our breakfast became a usual to staff by the third day.
What are your allergy goals?
