It’s pouring rain and the air is raw with late fall’s reminder of what’s to come. 🌧 So naturally all I can think about is this weekend’s roadtrip to the Litchfield Hills to see charmers like this dressed up in their holiday best.🎄Where are your holiday jaunts taking you? 🚘
“Autumn…the year’s last, loveliest smile.” —William Cullen Bryant 🍂
We always hang on for a couple days after Thanksgiving, but today we said a bittersweet goodbye. Took the frost-bitten mums and pumpkins off the porch and said see ya later to the flag as it makes way for a wreath. Our barn door will be bare for a few days, in Old Glory’s honor and as we shift with the seasons, but oh how I love the next round of magic… ✨🕯
Still sitting on fall over here, just for a few more days. ✨🍂
With Thanksgiving so early this year, we’re soaking up the last of November and can’t think of a better day to be a homebody. ✔️ How are you spending the day? Let’s vote: Black Friday, online all the way, or post-turkey peace? ✌🏼
A little crusty snow up at camp. I managed to stow the half frozen rain barrels and not fall off the icy ladder changing the security cam batteries. The mice chewed through the treehouse locking mechanism, and thus successfully locked me out of "their treehouse" for now. So, win win loose. 🐀 #cabinlife
Signs! ☑️ We hung the first round of signage today in Randolph’s new network, Reservoir Town Land and Dwinells. Map & kiosk go in next week! Network is leaf blown...go get some.
Thanks to Karl Fjeld to making these nice trail signs for us & Josh and Zac for hanging them today. This week a beautiful trailhead kiosk is going in w/ fresh Rasta map. Thanks to @vmba802 and Timber and Stone for making that happen.🙌🏼 #bonusseason#stickseason#fallriding#ridebikesbehappy#rastacountry@zfreevt
