We did it 💪
Completed my 6 week fitness programme, the feeling of achievement is immense. Not just for me but for all the ladies who are also crushing this with me.
Working with other people keeps you on track, you don't want to fall behind so you make sure you press play, every damn day.
I feel so happy today, I cried tears of joy.
With home workouts, you are with lots of other people following the same workouts on the same days. Each workout is unique.
Don't believe me, give it a go. I'm going for a "Marvellous March!". ❤💚💙
The moment you've been waiting for hahaha #shakeitupwithyvette is now on YouTube (link in my bio) ... All you mummies who can find 10 mins to have a dance I'm talking to you... Check it out and spread the love to those mummies you know who need something like this. More videos to be posted each week, got some easy to folllow old school hip hop and samba routines ready to roll!
My youngest turned 10 today, no more single digit kids. Today, has been lovely. We have played pool, fuse ball and other arcade games.
We've had some family around and more due tomorrow. The cake my 13 year old made was delicious.
I'm gonna have a slither with custard now.
💜No one is YOU! 🙋♀️And if you are like me, when told something is IMPOSSIBLE... I'd say WATCH ME! 🗣People will tell you, you can't do it. 🗣They will tell you to give up. 🗣They may make fun of you.
🗣They might not support you. ✋DO NOT listen to these people!
They may have given up on there dreams, DON'T give up on yours🙏

Thank you @artofadoula for this awesome post. As I head into FriYAY at work, I'm thinking of my stay at home mums.... I've done it and it is every bit as much work as work outside the home. 💖💖💖 Love you all ladies.... you know who you are. Now off to work and into the weekend 🥂🥂🥂
I must admit I couldn't be bothered to go out, it seemed kinda cold. But once we were there, the scenery was beautiful.
The kids enjoyed exploring the woodlands and climbing. My youngest brought his cones and football, leading to a football match.
The sun came out, I took my layers off and enjoyed the day. It was nice to spend some time together in a different environment. ❤💚💙
How is your half term going? Are you the take each day as it comes kinda mum or are you like me, planning each day to the max😂 I can't help it, I always feel like the week just gets away from me and fun is missed, if I don't plan in advance!
I’ve planned so many exciting and fun days out this half term with my boys😊 So far we've had a fun day at Chessington, got our history on at several National Trust properties, we've been Kings and Queens for the day at Hampton Court Palace🤴👑, and this morning we went to fun and floats at our local pool,🏊♀️ followed by The Lego Movie.
We've still got a day in London planned, doing the tourist thing, museums, theatre and dinner, and an overnight stay in Manchester to visit Legoland and Sealife, with a spa day and shopping for me🙌
Phew 😁 I do like to pack it in!
It wasn't always as fun as this, I remember the days when I had to scramble to get first dibs in the office for any days off that I needed to be with my kids, inset days, half term, Christmas holidays😏
Having to use up all my annual leave or take unpaid leave, and if I couldn't get that, well I was paying someone else more than I was earning each day to go and have fun with my kids😢 when that was all I wanted to do!
Now, all of that's different, being my own boss means no more asking someone else for permission to take time off so that I can hang out with my kids and no more stress about unpaid leave and mounting bills. There's no such thing as unpaid leave in my biz because, well, residual income, earning even when you're not working🙌 Yup, it is a thing 😁 .
Perfect for a mum like me 👨👩👦👦 who doesn't want to jump through hoops or be without pay just to hang out with my kids🙌
I've always shy'd away from sharing any post-birth photos as, as vain as it is, I've always been super critical of how I look. However, if we're being honest, I'm all about the low key life and knowing when it's appropriate to spend time looking glam. Plus, there's nothing glamorous about a labour that only lasts an hour. I dilated 5cm in less than an hour and almost had him in the hospital shower completely drug free (I made it to the bed but if anyone finds my dignity in that shower, I'd gladly like it back. For a funny story, ask me about this)! __
So, here's a photo of me, 5-10mins after I pushed a baby out my hoohaa with absolutely no complications and pretty much drug free (I got a couple of whiffs of gas that didn't have any effect)! Not going to lie, labour hurt a lot more this this time around due to how quickly it progressed but I'm also so thankful it was over so quickly! Added bonus: my iced latte we got on the way to the hospital was still cold (yep, you can tell we'd had a baby before 🤣).
It’s officially puffy-coat-winter-hat-a-chapstick-for-every-pocket kind of weather!! 🧣
Bundling up with family just reminds me how blessed we are to have ABLE bodies to dress & WARM things to wear. Walking around Seattle with my bundled up fam also reminds me of how many go without...
One of the goals we are working toward is being WILDLY generous... with our home, with our time, with our money. We want to give even more in times when we feel like we have less. We might not have a seven figure business (yet...😋) & we still have a ways to go to be where we would like to be but we CERTAINLY have more than enough to share...
On top of our usual ten percent, we are upping our financial giving this year but also our time... Volunteering each week at our favorite organizations, collecting all the extra blankets, food & clothing in our home to pass on to those who need it more, & giving away as many smiles as we can as often as possible!! (( Sounds corny but a genuine smile can go a LONG way. ))
So many of us have so much more than we need. THIS ((and, really, every)) time of year, it’s especially important that we serve those who are in a rough spot. The winter months can feel so so bleak.
Talk to your local food bank & gospel missions. Keep warm blankets & care packages in the back of your car. Smile to those you run into on the street. You never know what ripple effect you might make. But, it’s so worth finding out. ✨
