"Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?" I once read this quote from Marcus Aurelius -- "You don’t love yourself enough. Or you’d love your nature too and what it demands of you. People who love what they do wear themselves down doing it, they even forget to wash or eat. Do you have less respect for your own nature than the engraver does for engraving, the dancer for the dance, the miser for money or the social climber for status? When they’re really possessed by what they do, they’d rather stop eating and sleeping than give up practicing their arts." I walked around the museum today, thinking about how people like Michelangelo and Galileo could stay up past 4am easily because they were so engaged in what they did. I don't know what I'll be doing 5 years from now, but I hope it's something that makes me feel as alive as the astronomer who maps the stars past his bedtime. ✨
David, Michelangelo Buonarroti (1504).
Life is a ride. Things change, people change, but you will always be YOU; so stay true to yourself and never sacrifice who you are for anyone or anything. You have to dare to be yourself, in this moment, however frightening or strange that self may prove to be. It’s about realizing that even on your weakest days you get a little bit stronger, if you’re willing to learn. Nurture your self-worth. Sometimes the hardest part of the journey is simply believing you’re worthy of the trip. And you are! You are worth it. Tattoo that right onto your brain… Seriously! The world starts to respond when you believe that about yourself. It doesn’t always look like you thought it would, but positive shifts begin to take place when you start to recognize and acknowledge your own self-worth. So watch your thoughts and stop any self-deprecating thoughts from discouraging you. Remind yourself more often, that you are strong, you are capable of handling just anything. Let go of all that hurts you. Let go off all that brings you down. Letting go is not giving up. Letting go is surrendering any obsessive attachment to particular people, outcomes and situations. Surrender means showing up every day in your life with the intention to be your best self, and to do the best you know how, without expecting life to go a certain way. Have goals, have dreams, aspire and take purposeful action and build great relationships, but detach from what life must look like. Surrender brings inner peace and joy, and lest we forget that our outer lives are a reflection of our inner state of being. ✨🌈👁📿🕉🔱🌷⌛️🌀🔆🐍💀🍃🌙🌸🗿🐚🔔🌈🙏🏻✨ Love, light & Peace ~ Hari Om Tat Sat ~ Om Namah Shivaya ✨🌈👁📿🕉🔱🌷⌛️🌀🔆🐍💀🍃🌙🌸🗿🐚🔔🌈🙏🏻✨

कौन कहता है कि ईश्वर नज़र नहीं आता, एक वही नज़र आता है जब कोई और नज़र नहीं आता। ~ हरहर महादेव जय भोलेनाथ !! 🌲🕉🌲 Namaste Beautiful Souls. It's time for Monday Motivation. 🌀👁🌀 When the going gets tough & you feel like you are the only miserable person in this world, when you are worried about how the future will turn out because the things are not going as you planned, turn to God!! Trust your Savior and turn to him in hard times. HE cares for u, Ease your worries by meditating on his name and praying to him. God rushes to His devotees whenever we calls on Him with sincere prayers & devotion. ; "So you think Shiva can save you from my grasp? Yama said to Markandaya." And yes indeed, Shiva jumped to rescue Markandaya even from clutches of death due to his strong devotion. Lord Krishna came rushing to save Draupadi, when she called on Him when kauravas, Duryodhan tried to disgrace her. Lord Vishnu came down to earth to protect Gajendra, the elephant from the clutches of Crocodile and awards him salvation and he goes to Vaikuntha with Shri Vishnu. Again Prahlad was saved by Shri Vishnu. ''Those who worship Me, are always devoted to Me, always meditate upon Me, Having always fixing their minds upon Me - to them, I swiftly rescue from the ocean of birth and death" ~ God certainly rescues his devotees. Don't let God slip out of your mind till you live on this earth. Do not let anything else take control of your mind. Let him always be with you in all of your circumstances, let him protect you always from all troubles of life. So take a deep breath when you’re rejected from something good. Be patient. Be positive. Gods rejection is often his redirection. When something isn’t working, be quiet. Listen to God’s direction in your heart. Perhaps HE is saying, “There’s a better relationship or a better job for you than this". Success doesn't teach you much, Only failure teach you your most powerful lessons of victory. See everything as a blessing. Its through challenges that we can draw more close to Lord. Realise now that all things work out for good. Soar High, be strong, and believe that there are better things in store for you! 📸 Pic @irina.rozhikhina
Far over the misty mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away ere break of day
To seek the pale enchanted gold.
Don't really have time to draw at the moment, but little progress is better than none 🖐🏼
