I hope my kids feel this way about me later in life. Either way, 1 thing is for sure, Wayne SEES me. .
When Wayne and I were dating we both paid for dates. It was mostly him, but after we were engaged I paid for most of our dates or staycations (when he’d come to town). While he was interning in LA, I was working 12-14 hours shifts at a jewelry store during undergrad. He spent all of the $$$ that he had on getting my engagement ring. He earned most of that money from “keeping the change” from NBA players (some of your favs helped a brother out) while interning. .
I also bought Wayne full suits (shirts, ties, pocket squares & cuff links) for his interviews, along with tech for work, ordering food (while long distance), and etc. I’m still hot about the gold RADO watch he no longer has. It’s always been an #Us thing, NEVER an “I”. Now that I’ve been a SAHM (temporarily) I’ve heard things like “If it weren’t for Wayne,” “Thanks to Wayne!” 😶😂 I’ll just say that I’m blessed that WE appreciate each other and he never lets anyone belittle my role in his presence.
Are there any 2017 auto impreza owners out there looking to upgrade their shift knob?
Well you are in luck. Fresh off the lathe is a cvt adaptor that functions with this style shifter 🤙
So if you are looking to have a custom knob made for your cvt look no further, I can make it for you!!! Dm or comment for more info. Prototype will be going out for testing shortly! Then they'll be in production.

1yr Loc’versary 🖤 bottom right was a few days before the top right; left was today. I didn’t think I’d ever get them to grow, nor was I ready for the emotional and mental journey that comes with having locs. The self love, respect, strength and maturity I’ve gained makes my cup runneth over. Feeling like Samson and shit 😂😂 #locs#natural#locanniversary#1yrlocd#melanin#startedfromthebottom
I still remember so vividly my first day of college, becoming a CNA, starting nursing school, starting as an RN in the ER and I am so grateful to be where I am today! .
These people made this graduation possible and I am lucky and blessed to have each of them ❤️
Can’t wait to finish this journey by becoming a Nurse Practitioner! .
Today I Graduated from the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Apprenticeship Program. I’m officially a journeyman as a Fabric Worker! Can’t believe 4 years already passed in my career. I worked really hard in academics , but never expected to receive the Outstanding Scholar Award and U.S. Navy League Award. Congratulations to all the other apprentices that graduated, especially my bro @mike_brannum for getting the outstanding craftsman award of our shop! You’re always working hard and taking the initiative on the next job, you really deserve it! We made it bro! #Fabricworkers#brothers#twinning#startedfromthebottom#awards#surprisedmeforsure#graduation#wekeepthemfittofight
✅ officially done with my month of ob/gyn in California, which means celebrating with mango Chile tamarind peletas [aka popsicles Mexican style] 🌶
Thanks for the photo shoot mom, and for helping me road trip back to Oregon! Now, off for a quick jaunt over to #Yosemite National Park! Gotta squeeze in the adventures when you can
Didn’t set out to post a #fbf today (or write a novel) but Timehop brought up these WONDERFUL memories and it brought on some feels 😂 So here we go!
This was exactly two years ago. I was 6 weeks postpartum from c-section number 2 and still waiting to be cleared to start exercising again. Both my c-section recoveries were long and discouraging. But I took these pics (in my size L granny panties, hollaaaaa 💁🏻♀️) and somehow managed to not be totally bummed. I took these knowing I’d want to see the “before” when I finally got to feeling like myself again... Someday! 😅 I was in a healthier place mentally with weight/food than I had been in the past and although I didn’t feel particularly good about myself here, I knew this was just another page in my book.
Let me make it clear - I am NOT body shaming myself or anyone else here. Healthy bodies come in all shapes and sizes! Personally, this shape and size was one I knew wasn’t me doing my best. But beating myself up over weight had never served me well in the past and led to years of disordered eating and dieting. So I focused on remembering that, and on getting back to doing what I loved. 🏃🏻♀️
Once I was medically cleared to run, it was a slower climb back into it the second time around (I didn’t log nearly as many pregnancy miles with this baby). There was a lot of comparing old running paces and crying. I was more upset about my paces than my pants size! I wasn’t sure if I’d feel great about myself as a runner again. It has taken TWO YEARS of nothing but patience and consistency, but today I’m both faster and stronger than I’ve ever been. 🙌🏻
If you’re at a point where you’re struggling, take a step back and remember what control you DO have. At the very least, you have control over your own perception. Positivity will get you places. Be kind to yourself, remembering which things your body and spirit need in order to feel nourished. Exercise and good foods are usually two of those things. You deserve the very best you can possibly have in life, so give it to yourself ✨
When I first came to @OSUWexMed as a resident just under a decade ago, our department was ranked 18th in the nation for ENT by @usnews. It’s the best IMO and I guess it’s no longer our little secret- thrilled to see that we are now ranked 4th!
Proud to work in an incredible department of kind, normal/balanced, and ridiculously talented head and neck surgeons, allergists, scientists, therapists, nurses, and staff. 💎 #totalpackage#movingonup
