Thoughts on yesterday’s pop up shop... beyond grateful to the White Stuff staff who were so warm & helpful - I was so lucky. It’s important to be honest though & say - the day started totally deflating 😬 hardly anyone even looked at my display, I wanted to go home. But then a lovely couple chatted to me, they got my sales going... then I had 5 or 6 more wonderful chats with customers who gave me there time (& cash) so in all I came away happy, it’s the chats that make me so happy - I honestly think everyone’s story is worth hearing & I’ve realised I’ll never be rich because I felt like giving everything away to anyone who took the time to engage with me. So I guess what I’m saying is, sometimes you make money sometimes you don’t BUT it’s what you take away from it that counts (& I took away from it that there’s good friendly people who enjoy art if I just persevere)✌🏻 #paperjoy#paperjoyuk#smallbusiness#shopindie#spreadhappiness#happiness
This is an old picture (excuse the quality) but it's
the first thing I'm going digital with!!! It has been so popular and I have raised money for a local charity, Brighter Futures, through the sale of postcards and and A4 prints.
I will be creating digital prints, perfect for children's rooms, play rooms, hallways, wherever you like. A % from each print will always go to charity and the charity will change every 3 months.
I can't wait to get started!! X x
Who makes you happy when skies are grey? Tag below and I might pick 2 to send a postcard 2 😘 (I have some left over that need homes)
