Stillness... a state of freedom from disturbance; the absence of movement or sound.
Stillness and R.E.S.T. are two things our bodies require. When you hit the wall of overwhelm, stop everything. Unplug. Step away from your cell phone, stay off the internet, turn off alarms and notifications, and take some time to be still. It takes downtime for creativity to blossom and productivity to return. Experience deep rest and quiet stillness in your private float room #floathorizen .
FLOAT. RELAX. REPEAT.
Are you the person that reads the food labels, the person with a deep-seated need to know the finer details of anything and everything you’re putting into [and onto] your body?
Yeah, us too. That’s why you won’t find any nasties in Salt Lab products. We’ve looked all over the world to source the purest magnesium possible, so there’s nothing to hide when it comes to our labels.
No tox’ for us is an absolute non-negotiable! #onlinenow#linkinbio

It is very likely that you have had a headache. The WHO reports that in a year, half of the adult population has had a headache. With an estimated 75% of earth’s population being adults, that means there are over 5.25 billion adults currently living, so that means in a year, around 2.6 billion people have a headache. In a day, that’s 7 million people with a headache.
And that number is just about the same as the number of things that can cause a headache. One leading cause in America is dehydration, as well as stress and lack of sleep. But maybe you have gotten your 6-8 hours of sleep, 6-8 glasses of water, and read 6-8 stress management books without any fix.
If you suffer from regular headaches and you have tried many different things to get them to go away, it is possible physical therapy could be the next step you should take to alleviate your pain. Minor injuries to your head, neck, or jaw could all be major causes of headaches. As you are reading this, it may be a good time to sit up and fix your posture, since bad posture can lead to chronic headaches as well.
Physical Therapy can help the body heal from past injuries that we thought were all taken care of as well as strengthen areas of the body that lack the strength needed to function pain free.
If your headaches are being a real pain in the neck, physical therapy could bring you that much needed relief. It may only be a small pinching when using a computer or doing certain activities, but it can often be the small things we see as insignificant that we let pile until they incapacitate us. #TrainingPrograms#Running#RunFree#VerticalJump#Agility#ChangeOfDirection#Speed#MechanicsMatter#InjuryPrevention#Biomechanics#PhysicalTherapy#SportsPhysicalTherapy#MovementTraining#RehabExperts#SportsPerformance#Fitness#SportsRecovery#InlandEmpire#SanBernardino#SoCal#Redlands#Lomalinda

🦍 Are you experiencing any pinching or pain in the front of your ankle during squats or lunges? If so, try out some of these ankle specific drills to address the problem!
Video 1: Ankle CARS with banded calcanear/talar distraction and forefoot resistance. Utilize a thinner resistance band in order to provide adequate input to distract your hindfoot and resist your forefoot. Start with your foot pointed down, then face the bottom of your foot inwards, maintaining this inward position point your toes toward your nose, the face the bottom of your foot outwards while keeping your toes pointed toward your nose, lastly slowly return to your starting position (In other words: Start in true plantarflexion, invert your foot, dorsiflex, evert your foot, slowly eccentrically return to your start position.) ————————————————————————
Video 2: Ankle dorsiflexion with banded posterior talar glide. Keeping your heel on the ground, utilize your arms and body weight to advance your tibia over your fourth and fifth toes. In theory, adding the band will assist your joint arthrokinematics, help restore adequate mobility, and resolve your ankle pinching sensation.
Video 3: Ankle PAILS/RAILS- Advance your tibia over your toes with your arms/body weight. Keeping your heel on the ground hold for 60-120 secs at a moderately aggressive intensity of stretch. While maintaining overpressure on your knee, attempt to press your foot/toes into the floor for 30 secs, then attempt to lift your toes off the ground for 30 secs. (Your foot/toes will not move but it’s the effort that counts!). You should be working very hard during this exercise! 😅
Video 4: Squatting Ankle rockers- spend time in the deep squat position and dynamically advance your body weight over your toes. Keep your heel on the ground for as long as possible and then continue to advance your weight further to challenge your great toe mobility. Get comfortable in this position! ———————————————————————-
Remember this is not medical advice. Please visits a licensed physical therapist for a thorough evaluation regarding your pain.

No matter what your goal is, whether it is to recover from an injury, improve your fitness, or treat uncomfortable GI symptoms, you can’t escape basic human physiology. The body will never function optimally if you fail to create a proper foundation. This includes:
1. Move: Are you moving throughout your day, and getting out of breath and lifting heavy things at least a few times per week?
2. Eat: Are you eating all of the major building blocks (carbs, protein, fat, fiber) intuitively, without excessive restriction, and with veggies at most meals?
3. Recover: Are you sleeping 8 or more hours per night, and taking at least one rest day a week?
4. Connect: Do you take time to destress, disconnect from devices, and connect with yourself and your community?
5. Prevent: Are you appropriately managing disease risk factors, like blood pressure, family health history, and substance use?
If your knee hurts, it’ll get better faster if you do all of those things. If you have stomach pain or food intolerances, they’ll probably improve if you optimize all of these elements. These pillars aren’t the only areas that we work in with patients, but they are ones that we ALWAYS work on. It’s not sexy, but it’s physiology. These behaviors are preconditions for health. Put your body in a state where it at least has a fighting chance to be optimal.
Good morning Gippsland😎
In need of Recovery? Have you tried our Hyperbaric chamber? 🤔
Let us briefly how it works and it’s beautiful 😍 benefits.
Inside our chamber you are breathing up to %96 oxygen (Normally we breath only %15-%21 in Gippsland). This oxygen supports and supplies our blood stream which is responsible for the healing and operation of our bodies. When we have more oxygen in our blood the better our bodies HEAL and improves ATHLETIC performance naturally. If you are suffering from ANY injury that is going to heal over time our chamber will speed up that process. Have inflamed joints? Trouble sleeping 😴? Joint pain? Come use our Hyperbaric Chamber. Ask about our popular 3 session pass 😊 #hyperbaricchamber#traralgon#sportsrecovery#wellness@relaxationrecoverycentre

In a collision/contact sport like 🏈, you need to train with contact during return to play rehab. TE @evanwick is killing these drills, I am certainly no match for him but starting with light contact will prepare him for heavier demands!
The main principle here is translating all the strengthening he has been putting in and making it very sport and position specific. As a TE, he will need to be able to take on a chip from a DE, contact from LBs and DBs. He needs to be able to run block and explode off the line. We did several other drills not captured on camera but here is a small sample.
Athletes need a sports rehab specialist, I’m your guy. DM if you have questions about how you can get back in the game!
@comic_con may be over... but you’ll get all the strength you need from this dynamic duo 💥⚡️💪🏼☕️ Livkraft shelves are restocked with our favorite @bubsnaturals collagen! Pro tip: add a scoop to your @parakeetcafe coffee and thank us later 🙌🏻
