I was just asked:
Now that you are practicing thankfulness and getting money, does that mean you were not thankful before?
My Answer: Good question!
We are not these emotions. We channel them, we tune to them, activate them in our lives.
And so moment by moment we can use our opportunities to tune to the positive emotion or not.
For example, let’s say that I have a $100 light bill I have to pay and my mom gives me $50 on it.
I was thankful for the $50 my mom gave me... for about 5 minutes, and then I switched focus and spent about 18 hrs worried about the other $50 I didn’t get.
It’s about air time.
So the only difference I made was I spent less time focusing on the lack and more time thanking the $50 I already had.
Then I amplified the thankful vibe in general by thanking every damn thing I could find.
I thanked my couch, the sun, the birds, my hands, my feet, my husband, my kids, my family, my everything!
I even thanked the “bad” stuff bc there is value it those things too.
I got in the vibe of thankful and ran it to the ground, then soon manifestations that made me keep saying thank you started showing up.
So I was always a thankful person, but I became MORE thankful.
I made it my job and I got paid.
Try it! God promises this to us all.
But you have to practice so you can prove it to yourself.
Once you see it work for you, you will no longer doubt it. 🤗

I am a performing poet, therefore I am able to efficiently act out my references.
Lets write it this time.

We have a platform.
We have a following that loves Poetry.
We have a purpose to provide Poetry to those who do not love it yet.
At times we lose ourselves in all the madness or good things going on around us. Or when we click with someone one special that makes us feel happy again. 😁🤦♀️... But we have to remember what it is we need in our lives and not what we want. Needing will last you a life time while wanting is just for the moment.
Remember who you are and how far you comes. Refocus and take your time. Just be sure of the difference between want and need. If not, you'll end up right back where you started.

i only want you to be happy even if it being so, does not include me
i want the best for you; even if i couldn't be the one to give them to you
i want to be the one makes your heart melt;
i want to be beside you ever single second of my life
and most especially when you've had a bad day
I WILL MAKE UP YOUR DAY,
EVEN if you tell me to stop wasting my time on you
i would gladly waste all my hours, minutes, seconds
days,weeks,months, EVEN YEARS
just to see you happy,
i want to give you all my love; but i don't have the chance to do so
clearly you love him; i love you
obviously i should stop trying;i love you
probably because i love you too much; its true
that i did not see the knife coming
that's about to go through my heart
and rip it apart, now it's gone
but,, at least your happy but just not with me
and now i'll stop trying; because just like i said before
i want you to be happy even it being so,does not include me
(i) In this poem,
we’re anyone we’ve ever wanted to be.
When I tell you that I love you,
you swallow all the languages in this world,
and laugh for three whole forevers,
before spelling out “I’m sorry”, in braille.
(ii) There isn’t a silence big enough
for me to describe how I feel about you.
(iii) I’d paint you a sunset,
and write you the longest letter in this world,
but lately, I’ve been running out of words
and you’ve been running out of silences.
(iv) There isn’t enough space between the two of us,
for us to make it through twenty two sunsets in one day.
(v) I watched twenty two sunsets today.
(vi) We’re standing on the edge of this world,
I have all the directions mapped out on my left wrist,
But today we forget how to read maps.
(vii) I’ve been stitching curtains since the past three days.
(viii) I’d like to return all the silence I borrowed from you.
(ix) Three days ago, I wrote you a song,
today, I’m all the songs that I’ve never written to you.
(x) I hope you are listening,
I have so much to say to you,
today, we’re anyone we’ve ever wanted to be,
when I tell you that I love you,
you swallow all the languages in this world,
and paint me the biggest sunset
in three whole forevers.

This photo was taken 2 years ago at the first (and what was then planned as the only) Stand for Humanity event.
The little girl pictured is one of my best friends, who just happened to be 4 years old 🥳
When the open mic list was being passed around to she ran up to me to ask if she could sing. "And I've got two songs please 😊" without any sign of nerves. She said that she would be ready in "8 minutes" and after about 60 seconds came back up and said "OK I think it's my turn now." 😂 (you see why she is my best friend). I handed over the mic and with little encouragement, she took centre stage and sang a full rendition of 'True Colours'. And not only did she perform it beautifully, her voice was incredible!!! By the end of it everyone was in tears, and she told us all, "I have to do this, because I was born to sing. I just want to say to everyone you can do WHATEVER you want and you MUST. We all must do whatever is in our hearts." Her mum looked at me in shock and told me after that she had never heard her say that before.
We then broke out into a full in celebration jam and my little 4 year old bestie was the centre of it. On her way home she sleepily said to her mum 'did I start that party?'
Let me tell you, she flippin did.
Come along and join us this Saturday night. Kids go free, we just ask a donation is made to refugees for their ticket instead. Link in bio. Tickets will be £15 on the door, so if you're coming get them online 🙏🏼☀️ And yes, my little bestie will be there and none of you (or us!) are ready! 😍
you'll find love when you stop looking for it in the most unexpected places. you need to stop looking for love and let it look for you instead. believe me as soon as you give up, you'll find it on a metro ride, 500ml of alcohol down, at 4 pm on a cold thursday where you least expect to find it.
