An amazing and truly humbling thing happened this weekend.
I was blessed, and grateful to be awarded "Life Case Rate Leader" for protecting the most lives in my GO and "New Org Agent of the Year" for producing the most out of my other esteemed co-workers under 3yrs.
I don't think I'm the most talented or better than anyone I work with, however, through the relationships developed, teaching moments, and time spent with ALL of you I'm connected with, I am the son/brother/man/friend/coworker/agent I am today.
My faith, confidence, determination, focus, ambition, and heart has pieces and aspects of each of you I have known and coming to know. Thank you, Thank you.

There seems to be a big debate on whether or not identifying a niche causes you to attract more clients or stifle creativity. In short, I don’t think it is a bad idea to have a niche (I just recently identified mine); however, it does make me skeptical when I see a health professional claim on their website that they specialize in 8 different things. That’s a lot of “specialties” for one practitioner to maintain competency in.
Before anyone gets ahead of themselves, I find it completely acceptable for an RD to assert that their company provides services in each of these practice areas (whatever they may be); however, I don’t think it is fair or accurate to proclaim that the company ‘specializes’ in each of these areas.
I also don’t think it is a good idea to TRY and be a specialist in everything as this is the fastest way to burn-out! Focus your energy on specific skills and build your knowledge base around the specific niche you want to pursue.
