🔈 Every believer has authority given to them by God (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:17-18, Luke 10:19). So how are you using your authority? Are you taking the responsibility that comes with that authority?

THE BIBLE’S REMEDY FOR DISAPPOINTMENT⠀
Feeling let down by someone you thought you could count on is emotionally distressing, but you have to remember to keep your trust in God rather than people. “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man” (Psalm 118:8 NKJV). For a long while, I was in such a big rush to get married because I wanted someone to be down for Ashan Hampton! Someone to have my back and be my cheerleader whenever I needed it, because I’ve never really had a best friend, although I have several good friends. (If you have a best friend, you are truly blessed, and should not take the friendship for granted.) Very often, I had to endure some tough situations alone, but I was always reminded during those times that Jesus is the friend who sticks closer than a brother, and that he would never leave me nor forsake me (Proverbs 18:24; Deut. 31:6).⠀
When it seems that we no longer have the support system we once had, we must remember that the Lord sees, and is there to love and comfort us.⠀
If you have recently had to release a relationship where it seemed you were always the giver and the other was the taker, then be encouraged to know that your good works will not go unrewarded by God.⠀

Encourage the women in your life. Love them. Believe them. Champion them. Protect them. Support them. We’re meant to run together not run against one another. We all have our own stories. Honor them all. To my ladies, you’re rockin it!
• So often we forget that our WORDS & what we allow to come out of our mouths, holds a lot of POWER. We need to speak LIFE over our children, LIFE over ourselves, LIFE over our current & future situations, LIFE over everyone we love & the things we desire in our lives!! .
. I remember a few years ago having a conversation with a few girlfriends of mine talking about love & babies & everything I desired, but I remember that every time I opened my mouth I would say, “I know it’s all coming soon, & I cannot wait!” & one of them said to me, “but how do you know? How are you so confident in saying that?” I said, “because I am speaking it out over my life. I have been speaking this over my life for a very long time. Because I will not stop speaking it over myself, nor will I stop BELIEVING it for my life!” & sure enough, all that I have chosen to speak out over my life has come to fruition 💗🙌🏼🙏🏼 all in God’s timing!!!! .
To the incredible soul reading this, live passionately free in each moment.✨As mindfulness becomes clearer, seek the beauty, the lesson, and grow.✨You’re so incredibly worth it.✨ #nevergiveup ✨
So for the last several months I’ve been noticing a pattern with recurring #endometriosis pain and symptoms.✨My last surgery ended in a hysterectomy, as most know that’s not a cure for endo, but can help improve some women’s quality of life.✨Quality of life.✨I have been embracing and re-embracing my life with endo for so many years.✨Progressive disease, just when I think I know all there is to know about my case. My truth. It’s back to ‘school.’✨I’m continuing to embrace the facts, I may never be pain and symptom free, but I will continue to focus on bettering my quality of life.✨I’m worth it.✨You’re worth it.✨
✨warm and gentle hug✨

She is a snuggler. I am not. She loves to randomly pet me or kiss me on the knee or shoulder. I like my space.
But sometimes, we come together and cuddle up on the couch, and I love those moments.
Do you like physical touch or would you rather have your space?
Let’s play a game. I’ll post 5 random facts about me here and you drop either 5 random facts in your profile, or leave a couple below!
1. My husband and I met in high school while volunteering at a kids’ Bible program. We never dated anyone else, and I’m so grateful that our paths crossed so early in life! We were 15 at the time and have known each other for 14 years.
2. Last summer we went on a 6 week camping trip, driving from Washington DC to Alaska with three children under 5. Y’all, it was a BLAST. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Camping remains one of our family’s favorite pastimes.
3. Growing up we raised camels. Yes, I’m serious. We owned a dromedary camel for a time and then a bactrian. I have pictures for proof. 😉 we also had horses, sheep, yaks, ducks, chickens, rabbits, pheasants, turkeys, and two German Shepherds.
4. Life is beautiful. But I’ve also lived through the world of anxiety and severe panic attacks. It was so bad that I did not drive for 2 years because I was so scared and panicked. If you struggle with these issues, please know you are not alone. I know the fear and trauma and frustration and loneliness it brings. There is a community to support you. Please feel free to message me if you ever need to talk.
5. My first essential oil was Thieves. I may have laughed when someone told me something like essential oils could help boost your immune system. After 6 years of using them, I can say that they do make a difference and haven’t gone back. We use them every day. And my children refuse to go to bed until they’ve had their oils.
Many thanks to @aquiverfull_shop for one of my favorite shirts. It’s text is from a song “If the stars were made to worship, if the mountains bow in reverence, if the oceans roar Your greatness, so will I.” It’s a favorite reminder of mine!

I have this belief that as humans we rise to the expectations and the words others speak into our hearts.
Maybe i have this belief because it’s played out in my life like a broken record.
For years, the words spoken into my life made me feel worthless, empty, selfish. They told me I was a liar, a fraud. I doubted everything about myself. I fought hard against it for a long time but I’m sad to admit that eventually I lived up to every single one of them.
And it broke me.
But this is what I know now. The words spoken to us can’t do damage if we are fully grounded in the words of truth. Words of truth spoken thousands of years ago, long before we were here. These words stand today, tomorrow and forever to come. They do not change. They are bigger and stronger and more solid than anything else anybody says to you or tries to make you believe. **
I’m sad to say that not much has changed for me. Negative words, they still come my way at times. I wish it wasn’t true, but it is. **
There is a difference in me, though. I now stand on this unshakable truth that I am loved beyond measure. That I am not any of those things. I am more than my mistakes and faults and fails. I am me. And I am worthy. **
I believe this is true of all of us. And I made a vow to myself to speak this truth into the lives of everyone I meet no matter who they are of what they’ve done. I want to encourage and love on people for the rest of my life. I find that speaking the words my own soul longs for into others is actually better than hearing them myself. It somehow solidifies the truth in my own heart each time I share it. **
So today, my friends, I want to tell you you are loved. You are worth more than diamonds and gold. You are valuable.
Never EVER let someone take that truth away from you. **

Let GO of the Fear , the hurt the pain.the rejection..the disappoints... AND Choose today to be Healed and Walkin Wholeness
. #KAWANIAKREATES SPEAKING LIFE OVER YOU.
You know the feeling. Your body tightens up, your heartbeat quickens, your mind begins to race. It’s there until you can reason with yourself that you’re going to be okay. Fear and grief can be similar - when you think it’s over it can reoccur in waves. God has a lot to say about fear and He assures us that whatever we are grieving over or fearful of, we have a hope that is real. He is our source of hope, strength, peace and joy, and He will never leave us to go it alone. ❤️ #cslewisquotes
