I saw this quote last week on a friend’s feed and it got me thinking - hitting the really low points in life makes you dig deeper and work harder to get your head back up above the water. This goes for life and race courses - those times you want to quit and walk off the course are the times you need to dig deep and push harder. Those are the times that you learn how strong you really are and that strength spills over into all other aspects of your life. 💜
7 minute interval x3:
4 minute progression run and
3 minutes of incline walking and running .
Self reflection. Of all the times you look at yourself in the mirror or a photo. How often are you picking yourself apart. .......
Maybe you see the not so tight tummy. Or the wrinkles forming..or even scars that have darkened. .
The next time you find yourself picking you apart. Stop. For a second. And really look at your soul. Look at this body that carried your soul around all day! See beyond the "flaws" you pick apart. AND realize there is MORE than just your body and the stuff we cringe over.
For the love of self love..tell yourself "I love you and I'm grateful for you". Seriously! Try it. It may seem silly or hard to do. But do it. Until every time you see yourself you feel that love and gratitude.
Hustle and Heart baby! That's all you need 😘. We just kicked off the Transformation Challenge at @otfuws, and although I'm not wanting to lose any weight, I DO still have goals (nothing wrong with Makin gainz 🏋️♀️!) Many people get this crazy idea in their heads that trainers just get to workout ALLL day long. SO WRONG, but I wish 😉 (this was a quick 20min workout cause that's all I had today 🤷♀️.) We have to make ourselves a priority just as much as anyone else!
Next 8 Weeks
- Workout consistently at least 4 days a week
- Increase my base pace 🏃♀️
- Work on weaknesses such as the Rower 😈
- MEAL PREP and eat more veggies & protein!!!
- Keep growin those quads 💪
- HAVE FUN with my #otffam 🧡

I’ve always been a passionate reader, but it’s something I’ve struggled to keep up with through the years. I go through these phases where I’m either reading 3 books a week or not at all! No matter what craziness happens in my life though, bringing myself to God everyday and reading His word, redirects my mind towards where I need to go. †
This book I’m reading is called Everybody Always by Bob Goff. Placing my favorite young adult fiction aside, this is hands down my favorite book of all time. Bob’s passion for life is undeniable, incredibly contagious, and his outlook on life is spot on. I highly recommend trying it out and if you do… let me know what you think ♡ #godisgood

I forgot to take a post workout selfie today, but I’ll put it to you this way: I forgot my sports bra and it was jump rope day. If you’re wondering about the black eyes, that’s why.
Hold on to the people who build you up. Who go out of their way just to check on you. Who not only call you their friend but mean it with all of their heart. Who’s friendship you can feel without ever having to question it. •
I am so thankful for this sport and the amazing friendships I have built simply because of it. It draws likeminded people together from all different backgrounds and we all share one thing in common, the simple desire to fucking work hard in all that we do. I am so lucky to live this life and I can’t wait to create such great memories in this coming year! there are so many people I could include in this comment, but y’all know who you are!

Remember the moments that you were the most proud of yourself. The times you defied your own expectations. The times you proved to yourself that you have what it takes and you earned it. •
Use -that feeling -that adrenaline as your motivation to do it again...and again. Cause feeling that good never gets old. •
[Real Talk] If someone came up to me 4-5 years ago and told me that'd I'd spend my weeks and weekends training for hours at a time to win @spartan races ....
I'd laugh at them, then instantly ask what they were smoking .
I had no faith in myself, and saw little hope for my future. For similar reasons, I got myself into trouble because I craved what I had never received. Attention, love and friendship .
I've lost count of how many times I've been stabbed in the back or hurt by an abusive relationship... Because I settled for less than what any human-being deserves
So, as any young teen would, struggling with a lifetime of trauma, I lost hope. I gave up on myself, and through expectation - I created my own fate .
I kept choosing the people who would inevitably hurt me or leave. Some would call it a self fulfilling prophecy, I just call it self-harm. Because there are many way to hurt yourself, this was my way .
You may be wondering why I am telling you all of this .... I want you to know that no matter what life throws your way, what ever you THINK you deserve, whatever happens - there's always another option .
Yeah, we live in a society where trust is acquired but never truly given. But, that doesn't matter. As long as you respect yourself, love yourself, and expect more of / for yourself....good things will always follow. .
The lesson is to be able to sit with yourself in silence and view it not as, loneliness - but as peace. Because within these silent moments, these empty rooms and spaces, we learn the most about ourselves. .
Whether you are sitting and staring at a wall, running without headphones, or about to fall asleep, there is always opportunity to EMBRACE the thing we have been taught to hate and be fearful of. Silence. .
