From my Christmas release party last night at Space in Evanston, I’m playing along with “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” from my record with the lead guitar part taken out. I had a really great time, thank you all for coming out and listening and buying records!
To round out a busy week, tonight I’m playing my Thursday doubleheader: The Hideout from 6-7:30pm and then Orso’s restaurant from 8-10pm. Friday I’m opening for JD McPherson’s Christmas record release party at Thalia Hal. Sunday I’m at The Green Mill from 11pm to 2am, and then Monday Morning I’m flying to Korea for a week to play with The Jonathan Doyle Swingtet. #gibson#gibsones295 #295 #soundonsound#isawmommykissingsantaclaus#vintageguitar#vintagechristmas#guitarvideo
“You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.” — Woodrow Wilson Tag an artist with the courage to pursue their vision 👇👁
