I was never that person who can fall asleep anywhere easily. And I remember this happened only twice so far on the plane. I was so tired that the moment I sat my butt down, I was already sleeping soundly in Greece. Besides this two occasions, it takes a lot to happen for me to fall asleep and wake up 5 or 7 hours later.
Anyways, sleep deprivation is no joke. I used to prioritise many things above sleep. Work, especially. In my line of work, you can't really tell when work is actually done. Most of the time, like it's... NEVER. And it made me a caffeine-infused go-getter. Well, actually this started back in 2004 for some reason. And this results in weight fluctuation, weak immune system and high blood pressure. I kid you not, I'm on medication for my blood pressure.
I wanna change my sleeping habit. You should too, you guys, so you can think clearer and keep your body fine tuned. We don't know what's going on in his life, but let's be like this dude; sleep when you can and need to!
