Studies show solitude has a lot of mental, social, and physical benefits.
But when I suggest to my clients in my therapy office that they embrace more solitude, I often hear comments like, “I’m too busy to make time for myself,” or “I can’t sit still. I need to be productive.”
Inserting a little solitude into your overfilled schedule isn’t a waste of time, however.
In fact, the busier you are, the more likely you are to benefit from some quiet time.
Set aside a few minutes each day to be alone with your thoughts — just 10 minutes a day can help. Turn off your electronics and allow yourself to think for a few minutes.
Think about your goals, meditate, reflect on your day, or just sit and be.
If you aren’t used to solitude, it can feel uncomfortable at first. But creating that quiet time for yourself could be key to becoming the best version of yourself. #Mentallystrong

Tu l'as pris dans tes mains,
L'a serré dans tes bras,
Tu en a pris soin pendant un moment.
Lorsque il ne t'as plus servi,
Tu me l'as rendu.
Mais il n'était plus aussi joli,
Non, tu me l'as rendu tout brisé.
Who else can relate?
Do you sometimes feel as an introvert that you’re in a constant battle with yourself? You don’t always know what you want or what’s good for you? To socialize or not to socialize? To see friends or stay at home? To go out or to read? If so my blog “To socialize or not to Socialize” is up and might help you with feelings of confusion as an introvert. Here’s how to access it:

📚 New Art 🔮🌙 | 🦋📖 The Power of "Spiritual Solitude" ✨🧘🏽♀️⏳| One of the wisest things I ever did was seek solitude and a connection with the divine. It's important to remember that we are apart of this magical force of life. As humans, it is our responsibility to nurture and honor our relationship with it. I call it "the universe" you may call it something else. But whenever I feel depressed or "disconnected" I realize it's because I have been distracted from my true nature. That I am not this little ego and tiny person. But I am apart of the unfathomable, mind-blowing magic of all that is. This cosmic consciousness. 🌌
I had watched a video clip of @princessnokia talking about this subject. Then she randomly messaged me a couple days later. I took it as a "synchronicity" then this flowed out of me. 🌬🌊⚡🙏
