Today was mostly a driving day for @lanalynnemill and I. From The Cliffs of Moher north to Slieve Leauge. Between the times spent trying to stop my butthole from puckering too much and tearing the seat fabric due to these twisty, narrow roads, I managed to get a few pics to share!
My reflections on the day are as follows;
The Burren on the Wild Atlantic Way is an amazing and desolate area!
We didn't get to surf today but wow! It looks dangerously fun!
There are more shades of green here than I knew existed.
Some of the business motos make the inner and outer child of me very delighted!
I am becoming somewhat of a connoisseur of Guinness.
The small glimpse we got so far of Slieve Leauge leaves me looking forward to tomorrow's hike!
An Opel Corsa hatchback may be the most gutless vehicle that has ever existed. #slieveleague#hike#ireland#vacation#wildatlanticway#therustymackerel #theburren#laubrey
From Slieve League we started moving east along the northern coast of Ireland through Glenveagh national park and eventually crossing into Northern Ireland (technically part of the UK). Ultimately we would be arriving at a place I've wanted to see for a very long time along what's known as the causeway coast.

In the background is a rock formation spelling out "Eire". This can be found in a few places around Ireland and it served as a guide to allied pilots in WWII. It was also a symbol of their neutrality during the war.

Walking amongst the sheep at Slieve League Cliff. If I woke up in the RV and Corey had kidnapped a sheep, I wouldn't have been surprised.
So this happened yesterday!☘
She said yes!!😄😄💍 @seangallagherphotography @cmcel056@taylorchase5
Conor contacted me early this year with the vision of proposing to his girlfriend Taylor on the picturesque cliffs of Slieve League! ☺
Coming all the way from U.S. I was delighted and honored to be part of this special moment! The date was set and a plan was put into action.
How did I get so close? How did Taylor not suspect? 🤣 Wellllll... at first the plan was to capture the proposal from a distance, but I wanted to get that epic image of the cliffs and Taylor's reaction close up! So I decided what we could do instead, is that I would pretend to take landscape photos (completely normal up around the cliffs) Conor would then know where the location would be to pop the question! It worked a dream!! I can't wait to share more! Congratulations to you both!
Our time exploring Ireland's @TheWildAtlanticWay has been incredible. I've loved the beautiful and seemingly endless sea cliffs, the island's rich history and magnificent castles, all the winding back roads, hilarious local sheep, and the friendly people we have met along the way. I had no idea most of these places even existed before this trip and I can't wait to share more of their charm and beauty with you guys! I've saved all of my Ireland Stories to a highlight on my profile if you want to see some of the behind the scenes from our trip 🇮🇪 🐑@TourismIreland
