When you develop cystic acne (those hard, painful, bumps that linger for weeks) or pimples on the chin, jawline and neck area, it might be a sign that you’re consuming more dairy than your body can tolerate. .
Your skin acts as an excretory system to get rid of things which your body doesn’t agree with. When you get too much dairy, it is going to be harder to digest. This can cause cystic acne or pimples to appear on the lower area of the face.
On my evening post tomorrow, I'll tell you how to know if dairy is causing your breakouts. Don't miss the post. .
#TextureTuesday 💧feat. @belifusa aqua bomb.
#aquabomb is the perfect moisturizer for acne prone oily/combo skin. It helps neutralize skin-damaging free radicals, improves skin elasticity, and minimizes the appearances of pores.
It’s an oil-free gel-cream that feels cooling on the skin and sinks in without feeling heavy or greasy. It’s one of the few light gel moisturizers I’ve tried that actually makes your skin feel healthy and hydrated.
Now that I’ve talked about the pros, here’s the one con: the smell. I’m not usually put-off by scents, but this one is just a little too much for me. Luckily, the smell does go away quickly, so it’s not something that lingers. Otherwise, it’s a great product!
Peach & Lily Glass Skin Serum - -
Alright I’ve been using this serum from @peachandlily day and night for the last few weeks and I’m ready to share my thoughts on this beautiful product.
What does it do?
This serum uses a ton of Niacinamide, Peach Extract, and a Peptide Complex to reduce inflammation and redness, brighten, provide antioxidants, and encourage collagen production. Sounds like a powerhouse, doesn’t it?
I’ve very quickly fallen in love with this serum! I think it’s all the niacinamide because my skin tends to love that. I’ve seen a great reduction in redness, especially when I apply this in the morning, and evening of my skin tone. Now I’m nowhere close to having glass skin, and I don’t think that’s something I’ll obtain with this serum alone however I’ve definitely seen an improvement in my overall complexion and the texture of my skin. Unfortunately I have yet to see any hydration benefits even though one of the main ingredients is Hyaluronic Acid. Aside from that, the serum has done most of what it’s promised which has left me thrilled with the product!
This serum retails for $39, which I think is incredibly reasonable for everything you get out of it. Shoutout to @aliciayoon212 for creating such an amazing product, I can’t wait to try more from the line!

you guys already know I LOVE 💗 clay masks, so I totally had to try this one. My skin liked it a lot. It left my face less red and with a wonderful matte, oil free finish. I love such type of masks to take care of my pores once or twice a week.

so into gel moisturizer lately - I have the feeling they’re the best for my oily and acne prone skin atm. This one if packed with Queen of the Night Cactus 🌵 and Aloe Vera. It skinks into the skin super quick and it also works nice under makeup. Only thing I don’t like, after applying it, my skin stays a tiny bit tacky what I’m not a fan of personally.

like the moisturizer I got this one when I was in Miami as well. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m super excited to do so. I love everything Matcha so I have high hopes 🌿 it claims to reduce redness and inflammation - so that’s all my skin needs!!
what’s your skincare routine?
my skin has been getting better/almost acne free and this is what i’ve been doing day and night 💚

Before & after 1 treatment with @lovelybeautybylizzie 💞 we did a 60 minute acne facial plus 20 minute blue LED light therapy & finished with a Chilled Globe massage & these were her results. 💞
When it comes to treating acne, it is so important to have Patience & commitment! Everyone’s skin is different and results will vary but with the right treatment designed for your skin, you can achieve healthy glowing skin, remember slow and steady wins the race 💞 I look forward to working with @lovelybeautybylizzie Her skin has already responded so well after 1 session.
😱 Are you afraid of needles?! I was a little hesitant to try this micro needling tool by @banishacnescars but once I tried it, I was like what was I ever scared for?! 😅 Here I’m going to show you babes how to use the Banish starter kit to help reduce the look of acne scars. 🙏🏽Keep in mind you would have to use these products for awhile to see major results. I’m barely trying it out but I love it! ❤️😍 _
✨ 1.) I used the activated charcoal masque to unclog pores & blackheads as well as absorb excess oils & dirt.
✨ 2.) Using the pore smasher to prep my skin for the banisher tool
✨ 3.) I used the banisher tool making sure to avoid anywhere that I had an active pimple! This helps to promote the production of new collagen fibers
✨ 4.) I patted the banish oil onto my skin to help speed up the collagen process
✨ 5.) Lastly, I sprayed the vitamin c beauty elixir onto my skin to help tone it 😛 This seems like it’s a lot but trust me it’s not! The process is super quick and you get amazing results. 😬 So would you babes try it? Let me know down below in the comments! 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
• Deep Pore Cleansing affair. 📷: @pinterest#bentoniteclay#indianhealingclay#applecidervinegar • Feel your face pulsate with one of the most popular & powerful facials. • Great remedy for acne & blemishes. • To be used once a week.
Mix Aztec secret Indian healing clay with equal parts of apple cider vinegar. It’s best to use a glass, pottery or wooden bowl. Stir the mixture until it is a smooth paste. Add more clay or acv or water as needed. Apply a 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch thick layer of clay to the face or other areas and let it dry. Drying times vary, but times are generally 5 minutes of delicate skin and 15-20 minutes for normal skin. You will feel a pulling and tightening sensation, deep pore cleansing! Remove clay by washing with warm water. A slight redness may appear after removing the clay. This is normal and will disappear in approximately 30 minutes.Helps to remove dirt and impurities from the pores of the skin. The clay is beneficial for deep pore cleansing of the skin.
