A second throwback to the set model for “Love Never Dies”, the sequel to “Phantom”, which I designed for @detnyteater in Copenhagen a few years ago. This shows the end of act 1, the underground store where the Phantom kept the freaks who performed in his Coney Island freak show. The large ramp in the middle of the photo was in fact a huge mechanical bridge, which could spin, raise, tilt and track from the front of the stage to the back, with actors on it. All computer controlled and timed to the music - it was a fantastic piece of engineering , even if it did get the nickname “The Bloody Thing”! #detnyteater#setdesign#loveneverdies#phantomoftheopera#copenhagen
Perfect weekend with the super wolf blood moon (and eclipse!) to perform my Tale of Mara multi hoop piece at the 47th annual Madfest Juggling Extravaganza this weekend! Hope all of you took time to witness the majesty above us last night ✨ 🌑🐺🌑✨
Grazie a Laura Incollingo ed a Leonardo Anatrini Guazzolini per questa edizione stupenda di un pezzo di storia della scenotecnica e della scenografia da aggiungere invece ai regali di laurea. #setdesign#scenografia#scenotecnica
Cheering up Blue Monday with a throwback to when Audrey Brisson emerged from a giant slash shell curtain with a big ol fibreglass shell on her head and then sang the roof off the Olivier Theatre for Pericles @nationaltheatre#costumedesign#setdesign 📸James Bellorini
