Make the day special from beginning to end.
If you like paying attention to the details you can go all out on your wedding day; like getting your #maidofhonor and #bridesmaid some special slippers while you all get pampered for the big day.
This is also wat E. did for her girls the day she and W. got married in #TB2016
Happy Fri-Yay! (I know, an awefully sad looking photo for such a beautiful Friday, right?) Let’s talk about first looks! Here’s a few pro’s of doing one, as well as reasons why people don’t want to (and how I can give some reassurance!)
1- “It’ll ruin his reaction at the aisle! “FALSE! (I’m my @dwightschrutee voice) This is Blake. Blake and Steph did a first look, and this was still his genuine reaction when he saw his bride to be heading his way down the aisle. That’s a moment that will still be just as genuine, weather it’s his first or second time seeing you.
2- It gives the two of you more time together! You plan for months, and even years, for this day, all to see each other in quiet during the ceremony, and for an hour at the reception. It’s a great way to connect before the ceremony, have a special moment, and calm some of those nerves!
3- The photos! Seeing these guys fall into complete mush as they see their beautiful bride for the first time, weather it’s exactly what they pictured or better than they had dreamed, is freaking adorable!
4- Time! ⏰ If you have a late ceremony, a first look can be crucial to ensure you have enough time for photos afterwards!
5- “It breaks tradition!” True, BUT, many traditions are being replaced by new trends (more to come on that soon..)
There’s pros and cons to both, I just favor the first look 🤗 So tell me, did you do a first look, or did you stay traditional? Let me know below! ⬇️

6 Monate kirchlich verheiratet
Wedding invitations are such a personal thing. It’s down to colour scheme, feel of the card, text font, colour of the font and does it fit in with your wedding day?
Well mine don’t .... I wanted beautiful elegant invitations but I’m going to have a garden party theme. I didn’t like any with bunting on or anything like that. I just wanted plain, simply and elegant. Not everything has to be perfect otherwise you will end up pulling your hair out and never making a decision. - Don’t be scared to be different.
I have attached some designs that I really liked from @margoandbees !! Once mine our fully completed and sent out to our guests I will upload them on show you all.
Be Bold and Be different.

I’ve been going through my photos on my phone and remembered I had this video Trisha took of our first look ~ I can’t tell you how nervous and awkward we both felt in that moment, and also having our pictures taken. He hadn’t seen me from the night before and things didn’t go as planned on my wedding morning - including my hair and makeup - so of course (me being the overly dramatic person I am) I texted Quinn freaking out in the morning about how bad I looked and that everything is ruined... so when he turned around and saw me (you can see him mouth it) goes “omg you over exaggerated it” and then kept saying how beautiful I was. I’m so thankful I have this short clip from that day, and I’m so thankful to be married to him. Love you so much 🧡 [a thousand years by @christinaperri
If you sit around waiting for something to happen, you'll be sitting around forever. SO I'm not going to sit around & tell you all about the weight & inches I lost, I'm not going to tell you that I cut out entire food groups & only consume kale now. I'm not going to tell you that this is the only way because it's not...instead I'm going to tell you about everything I have gained. I have gained, strength (physically & mentally), confidence, a sense of belonging, & a really amazing group of friends to hold me accountable & that's all I ever really needed.
For years I struggled with my weight, crash diets, food allergies, broken feet, & so many other issues plaguing me. I either hated the workout out or I loved it. I either felt welcome in the gym or I didn’t & the lack of consistency or desire to be involved in anything related to fitness lead me to no accountability whatsoever. Last December like every other Dec before it, I ate everything in sight. It's no mystery that the holidays are hard & food is everywhere especially sweets. So from Thanksgiving to my Bday through Christmas and all the way to New Years, I ate & drank everything without consequences...or so I thought. When we finally got back from our vacation & NYD had passed. I -like everyone else- set goals for the year, some resolutions to make me feel good - ya know to make me feel like I was in control of my life. *Spoiler Alert* I wasn't. Funny enough, eating better was on my list, but working out was not...I figured I would eat a little bit cleaner &easily shed the extra weight that I had gained over the last couple of weeks & my life would be sub par again.
