More selfies, more self love! I know it’s not easy coming on to Instagram when you don’t feel good enough. (I have my days where I compare myself still but it gets easier when you realize the way things work). You get bombarded with images of women in bikinis on beautiful beaches with their seemingly “perfect” life. I know how hard it is to believe that you could be happier if you looked like them or had more money to travel the way they do. And I know those images can & do HURT people badly but we can’t only put the blame on those accounts. We need to find a balance of peace within ourselves to know that we’re enough as we are. Teach your children to understand that love for oneself is more powerful than likes. Prepare them to understand society’s misconstrued and deceitful way of working so that they can stand grounded in who they are. Back to reality... and I couldn’t have been more excited to jump back into this program on week 2!!! It was intense and just what I needed!
I did not limit myself in NYC- I made a choice before I left to just enjoy it all without the guilt and I definitely did! I STILL ended up loosing a lb (all during that time of the month, I know you know how big of a deal that is, ladies!) and I feel amazing! We made sure to keep active and walked everywhereeeee! It just goes to show you that you CAN make trips work with your goals without having to feel guilty- you just need to plan for it! Back on track today, and it feels SO DAMN GOOD! 👊🏼
It seems like people either love my locs or they look at me in disgust and like I am crazy. I actually kind of like the disapproving faces. It even makes me laugh out loud sometimes.... it’s fun to eff with people & shake shit up in their minds. Lol 🤪
In some ways it’s breaking up all the monotony in their daily lives by bringing something new and different to look at.
Either way, I love my hair so much and that’s really all that matters. These locs hold all my energy and love. I’ll lock that in to hold onto any day. And for you, find whatever it is that you live about yourself, inside and out....and shine it like you are the sun! Because you are!🌞✌🏼❤️

I'm gonna be honest with you, there are gonna be some people who will discourage you from naming names, sharing your truth or even telling your on social media etc. But I'm here to tell you there are many of people who need to hear your story so they can be set free! 🙌
You don't have to have to change your story because what your abusers did to you is apart of your truth. You owe it to yourself to be completely free! .

1. Learn more about money management and investments for freelancers (how to earn and spend/not to spend your honorarium)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Work on my website for an hour every week (I have big plans and ideas, but no time to implement them UNLESS I plan it out)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Learn more about SEO (once I create my website with an abyss of data and useful information for translators, I want it to be searchable and easily found). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. Have more focused and efficient work sessions. I want to get done with computer work before my family gets home. Besides useful techniques and time management, I also found some good apps that I’ll share. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5. Work on language skills 20 mins every day (vocabulary, style, pronunciation in my working languages) Write for 10 mins every day. Read 3 fiction, 3 non-fiction, and 3 business books this year.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
6. Practice life balance and healthy lifestyle as a freelancer. Be less on my phone (luckily, there are usage trackers that allow to fulfill this goal). Workout 3 times a week. Eat nutritious whole foods. Do things that make me happier, healthier, and overall balanced human being.⠀

At a recent coaching workshop, we shared with each other what parts of our personas we’d like to see more amplified in each other & then we named that quality with a fun kinda “super hero name”. For me, they called it the “Smiling Surfer Dude”. I guess I come off as a bit more conservative at first. Haha!! And just like that, I delivered. I just didn’t realize it would be quite so easy!! You can all transform. Just name it and go! 😁🏄🤙🏻

I'm shaking as I type this because I am so excited! So after about two weeks of begging for inspiration, I am rolling out my first donation-based Facebook course. Instead of trying to escape
that ache in your heart
take a moment to acknowledge it.
Let it take up some space in your awareness.
Feel the sensations in your body
that are connected to that emotion.
Ask it what it wants to do.
Let *that* part of yourself
decide what it wants and needs in this moment.

or to talk with a friend

and paying attention to that ache

‼️For anyone who started their fitness journey at the start of the year and is beginning to feel like they want to give up...DON’T‼️❌ You are doing amazing! 👏 Whether you are hitting the gym once a week or 5 x a week. Whether you are drinking 3L of water a day or slowly cutting down on fizzy drinks. Whether you are getting creative with nutritious recipes or simply being more mindful about what you eat.
ALL PROGRESS IS STILL PROGRESS whether you can see it or not! 🙌
Don’t compare the start of your fitness journey to someone else’s middle or end because that will completely deflate you and it is utterly pointless!
Comparison is the theif of joy 🙅♀️ Whatever your goal is, I want you to know that it isn’t going to happen overnight and it isn’t going to be easy. But it will be WORTH it 🙌 It will be worth it to feel stronger and healthier and happier. It will be worth it to feel confident in your own skin and feel like you could take on the world. It will be worth it to have complete freedom around food with no rules or restrictions 🙏
And you WILL get there, just stick with it! This is the point when so many people give up. Maybe they aren’t seeing results as quickly as they expected so they get disheartened or think ‘it’s not working’. Don’t be impatient. It IS working. It will just take TIME ⏳
Give yourself a chance and remember it’s not always about the physical transformation (as much as some 'fitspos' will make it out to be). You are more than just a ‘before & after’ photo. So strive for more than just the external image and keep going ✨ ❤️Be patient.

Day 61: I did not work out all weekend and I probably consumed my body weight in Oreos, but that’s life. I had a rushed 30 minute cardio session on the stationary bike. AND I had to swing my ponytail around because I was looking like a bald headed woman without it in the picture. I have under eye bags down to my lips and not sure why the hoodie is fitting like a crop top, but this is me. You CAN get slim with ease and pleasure.
You don't have to restrict your calories or food intake.
You don't have to feel deprived.
I know I trigger a lot of people by saying that... but I don't care - because the proof is in the pudding.
Women who decide to go on this journey to freedom with me, get results the easy way!
But honestly, there are two ways to lose the weight and you get to choose:
A. Willpower. Restriction. Deprivation. Struggle. Workouts you dread. Always counting calories/points. Having a scale with you at all times. Never trust your body... HARD.
B. Pleasure. Inspired action. All you want to eat. Doing what feels good. Yummy, fun activities that feel like play. Completely in tune with your body... EASY.
What will you chose?
Because in the end, both option will work.
It's your choice.
And I'm here telling you:
IT GETS TO BE EASY.
You may know that I was struggling with my own weight loss for half of my adult life.
I tried everything to lose weight, but nothing really worked long-term. ... until I stop focusing on the physical body only and started to include the emotional and spiritual body as well.
After that, everything shifted.
Not only that I manifested slim body (and unlimited pleasure), I also manifested other ah-mazing things into my life. So much that - ... my friends call me Manifestation Queen!
And my clients are always amazed how easy it is after years and YEARS of struggling.
I found a way to make weight loss easy.
People have been begging me to teach them this.

What Mindfulness IS NOT!
The word 'mindfulness' has been butchered in so many ways.
The myths of Mindfulness and what is is not:
- Something you need to dress or sit in a certain way for
- Is not used interchangeably with 'meditation'
- Is not where women just talk about 'feelings and emotions'. It is firstly a universal thing all genders can practice and we all have feelings and emotions
- It is not religious or masking Buddhism in disguise
- It's not as easy as breathing for 10 minutes every day
- Another fad or buzz word
- Something you have to set aside time for during your day
- It is not something you can't practice with what you have today

I booked this trip to Belize on a whim, after @tristtymo messaged me and said that “I really think you need this”, sent me the link to @yogigos and told me to come with her. I had seen @daniiparks share the trip on her instagram, and wanted to go, but convinced myself otherwise — but Belize is somewhere that’s been on my bucket list for years.
The day Tristan messaged me, I immediately googled flight prices. Then I messaged @kaylabosworth in Houston once I noticed I may have a 20 hour layover and asked if I could sleep on her couch. Then, I decided that it *was* truly something my soul needed — and despite my mom telling me no, my concern about what work would say when I asked for time off (they denied the request btw), and going against every bone in my body that is planned and organized and seeks approval first — I booked the damn trip. Something was calling me.
2018 brought me so many hardships and tough moments. It broke me down to my absolute bottom, and tested me more than I would have liked. What I learned during my darkest moments is that there is always light to be found & that people come into your life when you truly need them the most. As I sit and type this, I can say that this week has tested me in many different ways, but it has also brought me so many people I’m so thankful to call my family. People who started as strangers and who, over the course of the week, came to be vulnerable and open up with me. People who’ll bring me food when I can’t sit in the restaurant, give up your kids room to you when you need a place to sleep, people who will help you ease into the water after a panic attack and support you so you can see the sharks. This week reminded me about the inherent good in people, which can sometimes be lost, but comes out when you truly need it most ❤️🙏🏼 This week we talked a lot about “I Am”, and right now the first word that comes to mind is “thankful”, so so very thankful ✨
