#KeanuReeves is a scientist, alongside #ThomasMiddleditch working in Puerto Rico, working on taking the brains, or at least the memories of dead soldiers and placing them into a robot body. You can see how this can and will go wrong. This puts the project & the company funding the project at risk. As scientists, we should probably sit down and think about what went wrong, OR we can go on a family vacation during a storm! What could go wrong?! Even more than you think. After his family dies in a storm accident, #Keanu calls up Middleditch & they take the bodies back to Keanu’s house. Then Middleditch goes to the lab & brings back three incubation pods, cloning pods. Keanu’s focus has been about implanting a humans mind into a robot, but now, Keanu figures out he’s going to just #Clone his family. There is a problem, we have only 3 pods, but there are 4 bodies. I can go into the math on this, but you’re smart.
Being of sound logic, the grieving scientist, decides through random lottery of pulling a name out of bowl, one of these kids, just isn’t coming back. Then we have ten minutes of “Who should it be?” IF WE HAVE to do this, then logically, the youngest, but logic has no business in this movie, and it’s the youngest anyway only to have a scene of grief, and over acting. The we start erasing any evidence of the youngest daughter being there. From toys, to drawings, to the actual memories inside his family’s minds.
Then we just get into the mundane as we wait for the family to hatch out of their pods. We see Keanu’s character just fall deeper into madness. Trying to hide his dead family until they’re done, covering for them through various social media streams and text messages.
The powers that be, find out, as they do, and thats when blackmail and threats about the family now being company property come into play. It really just unravels and stops becoming fun.
Keanu Reeves really loves #SciFi, they were trying to mak a new #PhilipKDick story on their own, and it felt rushed. We can be sure this will make its way to #Netflix and #SyFy & honestly, if you’re still curious after reading all the above, then I suggest waiting. #movietalk#replicas
Pages on pages! I’ve been working on this comic idea 💡 for over a decade now. But with lots of guidance from @drawinghouse.ca and support from my family, I’ve reached and overcame my first goal! I have a little over 80 pages, hand drawn pen to paper. From here on it’s going to be all computer editing. Wish me luck 🍀 👍🖥⌨️
Missed this yesterday, but I happened to see that Voyager premiered back on 1/16/95- 24 years ago! .
I was 15 at the time and did watch the first episode that night on UPN.
I remember not being too impressed by "Caretaker." And didn't watch Voyager much after that throughout its long run.
But I have became a fan in recent years.
Vampire killing kit via Wolf's Museum of Mystery. I finally made it back and I'd said I'd share some photos so @lifeisapigsty could see. I'm a bit sad they are closed now and are moving so far away. They will be taking over an old church in New York as their new home for curiosities. I'll share more photos from here tomorrow🖤
